nitroseed
Just a heads up: the Braves will be wearing their throwback jerseys tonight against the Mets, as it's Hank Aaron night at Turner Field.I'll try to get some pictures when they become available. hrivnak
Yeah, if they'd go back to those unis, I may even have to cheer for them again.
paynomind
These are awesome unis... they are an awesome combo of colors.. the lower case a is super. Love them!
NJTank
The throwbacks were a nice touch today, but it kinda falls flat when the Mets wear their black alts. The Mets shoudl hav eworn throwbacks to or at least their road greys which are not far off from their 1974 unis.

KCScout76
I'm dating my age; I remember these unis and watched the Braves play in them. I believe Hank Hammered #715 vs. the Dodgers, I saw the highlites on the news that night. One of my favorite players from the 1970's, Bob Horner - 3B wore these. They used to call his spot "Horner's Corner" @ 3rd base. He was fun to watch - had a decent stick too!My favorite part of the uni is the feather on the sleeve, very distinctive! Yeah baby!
JQK
Those Braves unis are awful... Jeebus people... if you are going to embrace Retro, embrace the retros that look GOOD....
NJTank
Well thse were the unis they wore when Aaron broke Ruths record so wearing them was more tehn approriate. However their current unis ar eteh best they ever had.
artvandelay
I think those unis kick ass. They wore those for a good 10-15 games last year as well.
paynomind
Those Braves unis are awful... Jeebus people... if you are going to embrace Retro, embrace the retros that look GOOD.... Brother, this is yet again another case of having to agree to disagree.I think these unis are excellent. Very fine retro uni, one of the most perfect throwbacks in all the leagues. I'd support a 15-20 game set where these were their unis. I'd like to see the aways, too!
yh
I'm old enough to remember those uniforms, too. The jerseys were terrific, however I always hated the hat, especially the lower-case "a," and the batting helmets inexplicably had a white bill which did not match the cap and looked really weird. artvandelay
I'd support a 15-20 game set where these were their unis. I'd like to see the aways, too! They wore road versions of these last year. Basically the same jersey except reversed. Blue with white sleeves.

winters in buffalo
I was kind of hoping for the powder blue satin nighttime unis. didn't the dodgers wear those in the late 40's? I dunno..
