illwauk
Earlier this week, it was pointed out to me that the UWM Track & Field team has been using my work on its facebook page. Naturally, I have mixed feelings about this because while I obviously want to protect my ideas from theft, I would also love to work for the athletic department and feel this could somehow work in my favor. Has anyone been in this situation before? Any advice?
DelayedPenalty
Facebook link isn't working for me, but I found it.It does says it's a fan page, so I'd just message them and ask that they either take it down, or tag the photo to credit you as the designer. AnythingChicago
SUE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!! No, I would just email them to take it down. Unless you like the publicity, then you should just tag yourself to the image, as Delayed Penalty suggested, and add a comment on it saying you made it. CS85
Seeing as that it's facebook, send them a message saying you want them to amend the photos info line to say you created the design and have them provide a link back to your page of choice. I'm sure they'll comply. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. oaklandhusker
Contact the athletic department. If they like your work, they should work with you, not behind your back with your work. Also, it IS a very nice logo.
