KyleMakesConcepts Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 Hello everyone, thanks for checking out this thread! This concept is a Buffalo Sabres logo concept. I made a custom buffalo body, and put the head from the "slug" onto the buffalo body, to make the buffalo featured in this logo. Also, for the swords, I cropped out the sword from the Sabres old alternate B logo, and crossed them under the buffalo. I don't know why, but I just think the logo looks awkward, but awesome at the same time! Alternate logos and jerseys coming soon! C&C would be much appreciated! goforbroke Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 We've seen this type of concept attempted a dozen or so times, but I think this is the best version I've seen. I would like to see a little grey highlight or bevel of some kind on the buffalo, it's a little too simple and clashes next to the swords. Or tone down the highlights on the swords. It looks dumbfounded (which would make sense at the moment given how bad we're sucking)But the rest is acceptable to me. Which, admittedly could be kinda cool in it's own right, but I don't think you were intentionally designing a mutant bovine. 5th in NAT. TITLES | 2nd in CONF.
