joegalvan Posted September 8, 2012 Share Posted September 8, 2012 that is weird. probably just a case of poor QC on the font-case. this popped up on the bay... could this be the 4th helmet?looks like a purple hydro chrome version of the original PC helment. no center stripe makes me think its fan made.. or possibly early prototype. chinstrap is suspect too. pretty sure TCU's gear is triple black. i kind of like it tho. I've seen the 4th helmet, and this ain't it. This is fan made and HGI had nothing to do with it (same as pretty much every other TCU helmet on ebay (other than the replicas of the 2011 helmet HGI made). With the other "new" logo and all.I have to say, I actually think the arched 'TCU' with Nike font Horned Frogs works. Agree with me or not, I like how it looks together.
