PurpleRush
After years of the home team having the left end zone, Green Bay had the right end zone as home team last year. The trend continues this year.So far these are the only 2 pics I've seen of the painted field.http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/getting-ready-to-kick-off-the-super-bowl-in-indianapolis/2012/01/30/gIQAHLAUdQ_gallery.html#photo=29http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/getting-ready-to-kick-off-the-super-bowl-in-indianapolis/2012/01/30/gIQAHLAUdQ_gallery.html#photo=
CitizenTino
I feel like it's about time for the NFL to mix up the design for the Super Bowl fields. This is the ninth straight year for this template (NFL shield at midfield, SB logo on 25-yard lines, and team logo/nickname/conference logo in the end zones). Just feels like there are so many possibilities for what they could do, especially the end zones, and yet this is so drab. Then again, given the direction they've taken with the SB logos, I shouldn't be surprised.
infrared41
Are we certain of the camera placement? I ask because if the cameras are on the right side of those pictures, then on TV, the Patriots end zone would be on the left.
rcb05
infrared,The NFL logo on the 50 will face the TV cameras. So the OP is correct, Pats endzone will be on the right.
