BLUELANDbeliever
The kid is an absolute monster. 4 time Division 1 champ at 4 different weight classes, the first person to ever do this. If you aren't very familiar with wrestling, it is very hard to be competitive in more than one weight class. Usually guys just find that happy medium between what they can lose and small meal portions, but Dake tosses that out the window. I wish I knew what his secret to adapting so well was. Congrats Kyle. Here's the match from Saturday vs. Penn State's David Taylor (defending national champ at 165 pounds) BigMac's posts make me want to punch babies.Hockey is weird and I love it. FiddySicks
That's one of the most impressive things I've ever heard. To cut and gain weight like that is nearly impossible. I for one, can't wait to not see this kid wrestle in the Olympics. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) BLUELANDbeliever
Cutting weight is a very difficult thing to do. Weight management is weird because sometimes you lose so much weight in practice, you actually have to look to gain weight (at least that was my experience my first two years. The most I ever cut was 12 pounds in about 8 hours.) I still have faith that wrestling will be in it's rightful place in the olympics. These are usually in NHL/NBA arenas but this year it returned to Iowa at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. I wwent a few years ago when it was in St. Louis at the Scott Trade Center. Was awesome.
