  1. Whats crazy is since 2015 they've had 8(!!) jerseys that have gold on them. Kinda crazy.
  2. His number has been taken for a bit.....
  3. I am going to say in a vacuum it looks nice. I think we'll need to see it on field to actually get a good idea, but it's not terrible. I'd say above Cincy's for sure. But could've been better.
  4. IT gives off soccer vibes. But it would only probably be good on the sleeves, or just on a workout T-shirt before the game.
  5. Now all they need is yellow pants for the home look (and occasional away). I don't know why Matt Campbell hates yellow so much. EDIT: There are Yellow pants from this picture! How often they'll be worn though I don't know. Hopefully at least a few games a year.
  6. It does mention they are going to change the striping pattern to avoid it being "too Oiler-y" but it'll be nice to see them use the color among more teams.
  7. My thing is if UH is like "duh the color has been here since before the Titans, then the Texans should've told the Titans to suck it and go all in on the shade.
  8. These two sets, plus (if they really wanted) use the 5280 uniform as a alt, and they have a pretty decent look overall.
  9. Essentially do an inverse of those "poop" alts where its orange with white #'s outlined in brown with orange pants to pair it with the Brown helmet if you wanna do that.
  10. The Pro Bowl isn't even what is used to be. If anything you could smudge it into the draft weekend with the current format that it's in since its flag football and dodgeball among other things. Then make the draft almost a week long thing.
  11. I know someone shared what the hat with this looks like but I need it on a solid black or teal or purple or something because this is cool as all get out
  12. How old are the occupants of this board? Because these are some deep Simpsons references.
  13. Why do teams have to do black/dark colored names/numbers outlined in color? Just make those elements color! I do not understand how hard it is to make people be able to legibly read!!
  14. Aren’t these just the Texans old uniforms? (they do loook good though)
  15. I wouldn’t hate the stripe as much as I do if it actually extended through the whole helmet like a normal stripe
  16. https://safrsports.com/lab-studies/ According to the link it's saying they reduce the risk of concussions by 77%, then it says 72% reduction on "concussive hits". But that's putting it on top of a 5-star rated helmet.
  17. The NFL also has a more restrictive rule set (for the most part) when it comes to alternate uniforms. So there is that. While the NBA can wear the alternates so many times, it does seem like teams just like to pick those ones to play with over their more streamlined uniforms.
  18. 1. Raiders 2. Packers 3. Browns 4. 49ers 5. Giants 6. Bears Obviously that is subject to change, but that's how I'd go about it.
  19. I do want to circle back on this question because doesn't T-Mobile have a very specific shade of magenta trademarked? What leads to that because then obviously that opens up a new can of worms, but if the Titans cannot prove something about the Oilers blue, why doesn't Houston just use it?
  20. It could, but diamond in cards are red, but I do see the correlation. They would need to do a LOT of story telling on the identity I think for people to get it. Just to distance themselves from the Vegas ideas, but it could be a super cool identity if worked right.
  21. Quick observations looking at the photos on the Texans Website: - Home and Color Rush jersey seem like lateral/downgrades. The simply removed the accents on the sleeves and added the logo in place of numbers and moved the numbers to the TV spot on the home. The home uniforms I will say I think pop a bit more with the new collar colors, but it still comes off safe. - The Road and Red jerseys I really like. I wish all of the uniforms would have been this style with the horns on the sleeves. It would've at least looked more interesting across the board. - Pants all have stripes thanks Jesus. Would not have enjoyed seeing them without stripes. - I don't know the specifics, but I would prefer if the H-Town blue on the Color Rush was the actual number color and not the trim, but I'm sure the Titans would have had a word with them. - I don't *hate* the H-Town Helmet, however having the recolored Texans logo that shows up on the H-town uniform instead of the "H" would have looked better (I.e. swap out the Texans head and English H on the uniforms) - The Red helmet is actually pretty much the best part of the set. They should hopefully move that to primary status and add white to balance that out. Overall, the set is fine. I don't hate it, but some of it seems more lateral to me than a pure upgrade. I think there are a few things that could (and maybe will) change down the road but they seems serviceable enough and at least they'll still look like the Texans for the most part**** ****I doubt they'll deviate from Mono-blue though so they'll get confused for the Titans or Seahawks at first glance.
  22. From the back they look OK. Let's see a whole look though before we can make judgements.
  23. I'm sad the hats are sold out because I wanted one
  24. Weird enough 8 (9 counting Houston) teams do this (logo on sleeve). OF those 8, 5 are repeat of the helmet decal (Dolphins, Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Patriots) and now the Texans. The other 3 (Bucs, Ravens and Eagles) don't have their main logo on sleeve, or helmet uses a logo that is different from the sleeve.
  25. I don't hate the Texans new numbers, but also from what we have seen of the new home uniform, it seems like a lateral (if not) a minor downgrade. Like it still will look like the Texans, but they just decided to minimalism themselves in the most obnoxious way.
