  1. The NFL also has a more restrictive rule set (for the most part) when it comes to alternate uniforms. So there is that. While the NBA can wear the alternates so many times, it does seem like teams just like to pick those ones to play with over their more streamlined uniforms.
  2. 1. Raiders 2. Packers 3. Browns 4. 49ers 5. Giants 6. Bears Obviously that is subject to change, but that's how I'd go about it.
  3. I do want to circle back on this question because doesn't T-Mobile have a very specific shade of magenta trademarked? What leads to that because then obviously that opens up a new can of worms, but if the Titans cannot prove something about the Oilers blue, why doesn't Houston just use it?
  4. It could, but diamond in cards are red, but I do see the correlation. They would need to do a LOT of story telling on the identity I think for people to get it. Just to distance themselves from the Vegas ideas, but it could be a super cool identity if worked right.
  5. Quick observations looking at the photos on the Texans Website: - Home and Color Rush jersey seem like lateral/downgrades. The simply removed the accents on the sleeves and added the logo in place of numbers and moved the numbers to the TV spot on the home. The home uniforms I will say I think pop a bit more with the new collar colors, but it still comes off safe. - The Road and Red jerseys I really like. I wish all of the uniforms would have been this style with the horns on the sleeves. It would've at least looked more interesting across the board. - Pants all have stripes thanks Jesus. Would not have enjoyed seeing them without stripes. - I don't know the specifics, but I would prefer if the H-Town blue on the Color Rush was the actual number color and not the trim, but I'm sure the Titans would have had a word with them. - I don't *hate* the H-Town Helmet, however having the recolored Texans logo that shows up on the H-town uniform instead of the "H" would have looked better (I.e. swap out the Texans head and English H on the uniforms) - The Red helmet is actually pretty much the best part of the set. They should hopefully move that to primary status and add white to balance that out. Overall, the set is fine. I don't hate it, but some of it seems more lateral to me than a pure upgrade. I think there are a few things that could (and maybe will) change down the road but they seems serviceable enough and at least they'll still look like the Texans for the most part**** ****I doubt they'll deviate from Mono-blue though so they'll get confused for the Titans or Seahawks at first glance.
  6. From the back they look OK. Let's see a whole look though before we can make judgements.
  7. I'm sad the hats are sold out because I wanted one
  8. Weird enough 8 (9 counting Houston) teams do this (logo on sleeve). OF those 8, 5 are repeat of the helmet decal (Dolphins, Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Patriots) and now the Texans. The other 3 (Bucs, Ravens and Eagles) don't have their main logo on sleeve, or helmet uses a logo that is different from the sleeve.
  9. I don't hate the Texans new numbers, but also from what we have seen of the new home uniform, it seems like a lateral (if not) a minor downgrade. Like it still will look like the Texans, but they just decided to minimalism themselves in the most obnoxious way.
  10. Here's my thing, if you're going to do the white helmet, put it with the all white uniform. Even if that means that's the designated alt, if the team does all-white but with orange or blue socks, then you can't wear the helmet. The blue jerseys are good, but having the white helmet tied to those is ridiculous because they look so out of place!
  11. When does GUD drop the graphic showing all combos? I would be interested in seeing a Orange jersey with blue pants look. Even just to toy around with them.
  12. No, but I'm definitely not saying when I get home tonight I'm going to try it out and see what happens.
  13. I wonder if anyone is going to make the reveal videos a drinking game, like everytime a Ford Bronco is on screen, take a shot, anytime a horse is shown, take a shot.
  14. When is Houstons now? Are they tomorrow? At this point just let them follow it up with what they have so we can get this over with.
  15. Ok, if there is one other thing that's annoying me the more I see it, its the 5280 on the bumper. It's so contrasted compared to the blue and it just looks like an eyesore. I think if they did that in Blue outlined in orange it wouldn't look as bad.
  16. Is there like a slideshow that shows all of the uniforms? I know that's been done before but jeez I need to look at it in its full look before judging it.
  17. At least the pants have stripes, even if they are some weird pattern. But they aren't bad by any semblance of the word. How are they wearing the white helmet though, only with the navy set it looks like?
  18. With how navy heavy the away jerseys were, it would've looked so off-putting. The would have needed to done what the Patriots did and have a navy stripe outlined in orange on navy pants to probably make that work.
  19. Someone tell Denver to shadow drop them on Twitter like the Bucs did in 2014 and get it over with.
  20. There was also a Vikings white alternate…..
  21. We all know what happened the last time they changed
  22. the Broncos and Texans are really just playing a game of “hold my beer” until one of them decides it’s enough.
  23. That’s why I was hoping the token hat from the second leak picture was going to be it. That hat doesn’t seem to be available yet on MLB Shop or New Era
  24. Lions: Overall a huge improvement and I love what we got. Even the BFBS uniform. If you're gonna have an alt, do that. I wish the blue/white/black pants had stripes but it is what it is. Denver and Houston I feel like we need the actual product and not the drawing/pictures from paper. I feel like once we see a uniform in action it'll be different to gauge it but right now I'm a little underwhelmed by both. Denver at least seems to be the better (for now) of the two.
