I was reading an article on SB Nation about how the decisions were made as far as how Tech would look this year. The article concluded by asking that people design a Texas Tech uniform that they though would represent the school better than the digs they wore this year. Here's my attempt.

The Red Raiders should always have red as their primary shirt. Building off the gray pants they wore with their throwbacks this year I created this. My plan was originally to use a white helmet but with no white anywhere else I went with the red helmet. I think it's the best of the three logical choices for Tech. Originally I was going to copy the sleeve stripes but decided to go with grey cap sleeves to help the Red Raider stand out. For all of the jerseys I chose the Lubbock font over Red Raider because to em it looks a little better and fits the design more.

For the away uniform I wanted to bring in black pants that could be interchangeable with the home uniform as well. The helmet is intended to mimic the Michigan wing helmet by using the cape in the same manner and the stripe continuing to the back. Since UA would want to do something a little crazy I've added a sublimated Red Raider to the front, though I would make it lighter on the actual game day uniforms.

For this I took the helmets that Tech brought out for their red/black disaster and shrank the logo. It still covers the whole helmet but it's much easier to make out what it is. The double T is on the back of the helmet as well. The Red Raider is also on the shoulders a la the Cowboys Double Star jerseys. These would eb worn for Lone Star games or other special high profile games.

I dint like the red raider on the front of the white one it only worlds on basketball jerseys

The designs are pretty good but there's really no consistency with the 3 uniforms, were you trying to do that? And I agree with the first comment I find the logo on the front of the away jersey kinda unnecessary.

The "double T" logo would benefit greatly from less outlines.

I didn't really want to make them all the same thqts why there are a few changes amongst them. As far as the Red Raider on the front of the white jersey, agreed that it's unnecessary, I just think it's something they would do.

I really like the red uni with the Lone Rider logo used on the shoulder caps.

The black uniform looks good and a better rendition of the Lone Rider helmets they've worn this year. My biggest issue with those is they weren't symmetrical.

I don't like the white uniform for the logo on the chest a la Texas A&M's icy white uniforms, as well as the logo being on the front of the helmet. That just doesn't work for me.

I went back to this and fixed the helmet and removed the Red Raider from the front of the shirt. I think it looks a lot better with those two changes.

For this I went back and matched the sleeves up with the aways. I probably still prefer the other but I think if we're looking for a uniform look the jerseys need to look the same somewhat.
