  1. These pockets are in pretty much the same location as the new template.
  2. “It is believed to be too late”…for what, a regular season seven weeks away? Nike has the resources to draw up new requirements quickly if MLBPA is really pissed off.
  3. Not too much different...maybe a 1/2 inch or an inch lower than last year
  4. Jets endzones were colored dark green in the 80s/90s
  5. I think maybe they avoid "Replica" at the pro level. I noticed recently that most every college basketball jersey and shorts is labeled "Replica".
  6. Did you know there's a huge website with all kinds of sports logos? I believe the address is www.sportslogos.net.
  7. The numbers are a cool touch but kinda wish the NOB letters somehow matched the early unis, even in single layer.
  8. The elongated horizontal bars in the E and the elongated bottom of the S of the old mark take away a lot of negative space. The old mark is better IMO
  9. This is like saying 49ers fans in the Bay Area won’t be Warriors fans because they have the same colors as the Rams.
  10. DeWitt is describing what we’re seeing on the jerseys today…chainstitching on a patch. I agree that MLB and Nike should not be CFCSing jersey templates
  11. Cardinals’ president Bill DeWitt provided comments to Uniwatch in a December 2023 column: His response had a mix of good news and bad news: “We are maintaining the chain-stitching next year with the new Nike template — I had to fight hard to keep it. But the compromise was that it will need to be applied to a patch, which will then be applied to the uniform.”
  12. I’m a bit surprised a maroon Phillies nostalgia-based hat is not (yet) part of the collection. They have a lot of maroon-based AC Nike gear every year. I like that gray Mets hat, it may be inspired by T7L stuff.
  13. I tend to agree here - the jocktag has no signs of Nike; the league year doesn't turn over until mid-March so it's highly unusual for new jerseys to be unveiled before then.
  14. The Colts created black helmets just from the use of black swooshes on the home/aways. Apparently any black accent can be that minimal.
  15. Green numbers on black don’t look good at all either. White outlines will make it look like a MACtion jersey but will also help with legibility from more than eight feet away. And Ohio’s black jerseys with green numbers definitely look better with white outlines than without. I guarantee a white outline on the helmet like the 2022 alt helmets
  16. Nothing official, but PJ Fleck is rumored to be a leading candidate to replace Chip Kelly at UCLA. PJ better not :censored: up UCLA’s damn-near-perfect uniforms.
  17. Have two hunches: Orange crown with Mr Met Blue crown, white panel cap with orange/blue/orange stripes and a NY on top
  18. Pretty sure it’s original teal. Far more green than their current blue. The original teal goes with the retro vibe of the most of the collection. Note, too, the silver in the logo (like original palette) instead of the current gray.
  19. I assume the A’s wanted to show off more use of kelly green. All three 2024 hats so far this year are strong on kelly green (instead of forest). Edit: And the BP hats are down 25 minutes after being shared.
  20. This is a good online retailer so take advantage of this preview before all of these are likely taken down today. https://www.shopjustsports.com/search?q=new+era+2024+batting+practice Based off this, I’m assuming Giants will wearing 1989 throwbacks at some point Looks like the Angels changed the order of their batterman logo to red/white/navy, now same as the Nationals.
  21. Chicago winning the draft lottery was definitely pure luck amirite
  22. Our dear leader thought this was dark navy blue??
  23. Burgandy and darker gold would really a good look. The burgandy helmet with the darker gold W would be a solid upgrade and a better restart.
  24. Light blue, orange, black, white, with white sails on the shorts and never go away from it
