Supposing this report is true, here's how I'd align the Big T'ixteen into divisions: WEST DIVISION Illinois Fighting Illini Iowa Hawkeyes Minnesota Golden Gophers Missouri Tigers Nebraska Cornhuskers Northwestern Wildcats Purdue Boilermakers Wisconsin Badgers EAST DIVISION Indiana Hoosiers Michigan Wolverines Michigan State Spartans Ohio State Buckeyes Penn State Nittany Lions Pittsburgh Panthers Rutgers Scarlet Knights Syracuse Orange (I hate splitting Indiana and Purdue, but Purdue is just farther west than Indiana)

^The problem with both your proposals is that they'd split Northwestern and Illinois (I think they want to maintain their rivalry)
