Do the BBCodes from Imgur no longer work to post images?

Nope. Just paste the image URL and it should embed automatically. Actually right-click on the image in Imgur and select "Copy image address" -- the Copy Link button just copies a link to the gallery (not the actual image) and won't embed.

I'm just gonna say, this is a really good kit. I could nitpick some stuff here and there, but I figured Charlotte would go with an all-black look and I'm really glad they didn't. It's a distinctive look on a classic style — kinda reminds me of the Diamondbacks' initial home sets in that blend of "modern colors on a traditional canvas" — and I hope they stick with it going forward.

Yeah, they really seemed to emphasizing black over blue on their website and social media and other materials prior to this, so I was surprised the kit is so predominantly blue. And it's a nice shade of blue that's more saturated than NYCFC's and brighter than San Jose's, so I think it really stands out among other kits in the league.

Believe it's already been stated that this year's Chicago Fire kit will still use the navy oval nightmare logo, due to production lag time, though the club will use their new logo everywhere else. Sort of like how Columbus did this past year I guess, at least for the later months. Seems weird but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

From the club's announcement back in July:

    Quote

The current Fire Crown badge will remain in use across all areas of the Club – including on the team’s kits – until the end of the 2021 season. The new crest will be in full use at the start of the 2022 preseason as the club prepares for its 25th season in MLS.

This year’s secondary kit – the white Lakefront shirt – will carry over into 2022 and will feature the new crest. Next year, the Club will unveil a new navy blue primary kit that has been in production for more than a year and will be worn during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Design for the next home kit will begin in the Spring of 2022 as the team prepares to formally return to red home kits for the 2024 season.

Sounds to me like the base design of the away kit will be the same but the new crest will be on both home and away kits.

I've noticed today that when browsing on desktop, when I click on the last post link (where it says the time that the last person posted) instead of it taking me to that post, it brings me to the first post of the topic, as if I haven't read any posts in that topic.   Anyone else experiencing that?  It doesn't seem to be consistent - I'd say it's doing it 50% of the time.

Yeah, if you hover over the last part of the URL is "?do=getLastComment", somehow the board software is adding two } brackets to the end and that's mucking it up. I took a look on the back end earlier today but I can't figure out where that change would have happened or where to change it back.

If you delete the two } brackets, it should take you to the last post; I realize this is cumbersome and maybe not feasible in the long term, but it's a workaround for the time being.

If the last part of the URL is "?do=getNewComment", that isn't affected.

EDIT: According to this thread on an Invision support forum, it's a bug in their template code, so there's nothing we can do here on our end. But it has been reported internally at Invision and a fix may be included in a future maintenance release.

How (or to whom) can I send my collection of vector rugby logos to help updating the rugby sector of this website?

As mentioned in the CCSLC FAQ

    • If you have a logo that is missing from SportsLogos.net, you can leave a comment and the image in this thread. Please note, however, that the moderators of the CCSLC are separate from the admins at SportsLogos.net, and CCSLC moderators do not have the access or permissions to add logos to SportsLogos.net. If you post in that thread, the logo may not be added to SportsLogos.net for some time, especially if it is not from a major professional franchise.

If you have multiple logos, though, I would encourage you to upload them to Imgur or another third-party hosting site and provide a link to the gallery, rather than posting each one separately.

That doesn't mean their colors actually changed, though. Just might mean they adjusted the RGB version of their colors. Brands aren't based around RGB colors, and brands are often tweaking the digital versions to better reflect the pantone/print versions. Also it could mean the source graphics you found might have been saved out with a different color profile thus giving the graphic a slight color shift. All that to say RGB isn't trustworthy for brand colors. Need to find the official brand color guides (which are often pantone based).

According to our Friend of the CCSLC™ @TruColor, the Jaguars used Pantone 315C from 1995 to 2001, then changed ever so slightly to Pantone 3155C in 2002 and have been using that ever since. https://www.trucolor.net/portfolio/national-football-league-franchise-records-1920-through-present/

EDIT: Sorry, those were under "Franchise Colors". If you look at the "Proposed Franchise Colors" a bit further down, it also lists Pantone 808C and 3272C there.

Which of Edmonton's unis has that hem? Is this am unintentional Easter egg?

I'm guessing this one? I think the photo just cuts off in the middle of the blue stripe.

The stripes do look a bit closer together in the tweeted photo, but it could just be a size S or even youth jersey. Either way, I don't think it's any sort of teaser.

So there's one guy in black with his jersey pulled up to his chest, another guy in black with a t-shirt down to his ass, and two guys in white doing both - jersey pulled up to chest exposing t-shirt down to ass.

And what is up with Williams' socks?  Looks like some dope in white doing the same thing on the right.  Why even bother?

I'm not 100% certain, but this may have been pre-game, during warmups. I know there was some jawing between the two teams prior to kickoff.
