I saw that stat and was amazed. Out of all the times there's been a runner on third base in a tie game in the bottom of the 9th or extra innings and there's only been 23 instances where they were balked in to end the game. Feels like that should happen way more frequently.
It probably should, but the balk off can only happen if the game is tied at the bottom of the ninth, or later, with a runner on third. Those scenarios don't come around every day.

I would have loved it if Conagra bought the naming rights and renamed it Hunt's Field.
Or if McCormick bought the rights and call it French's Field.

I just googled them and is Mediacom even operating outside the US?
But they actually seem to own parts of ACF.
Ah....I guess it is basically like Juventus with Jeep

Only because Murray blocked a hilariously awful trade to Buffalo, mind; so effectively, Murray saved Ottawa from themselves.
In other words, now that Melnyk is gone....

Wow, the floor where Magic Johnson won his first title as a rookie!
If I were magic, I would buy it and refurbish it.

It's going to be real funny when we're left with two major football conferences that re-organize themselves in regional divisions. Maybe the Pac-12 is done for, but get ready for the return of the Pac-8!
If it means ending up with a proper playoff, then I am all for it.

You know it's Angel Hernandez when the call is referenced as ' that missed somewhere apparently '.
I found out "A League of Their Own " was released 30 years ago today... Ángel was an umpire then.

It's as many five first round picks, per the Athletic: Unprotected first rounders in 2023, 2025 and 2027, a pick swap in 2026 and a top-five protected pick in 2029.
I can understand all the heartburn over giving up so many picks. But as a T-Wolves fan from Day 1, I'd rather see them take some big swings now rather than banking on the unforeseen future. If they suck five years from now because of this, it’ll be no different from where they were five years ago, but they’re a lot better right now.
I think as long as Towns is there, you should try to improve now. Those draft picks can be hit or miss anyways.

Actually, my issue is that it appears to be half-hearted. If you are going to do a wedding, either let it be traditional, or go full-steam on a themed wedding , decorations, attire and all.

The seats at the new park in Vegas are the greatest ever. They are made of a firm mesh. It gives ever so slightly (you don't sag in the seat), and they allow for airflow.
I use an office chair with a mesh back at home and work office. The mesh really helps you stay dry or at least not feel stuffy like a leather chair would, especially on a hot day. The adjustable lumbar support helps out as well

Apart from the general stupidity of these designs, really like that after pushing Diamond Era and then that nylon material and who knows what I’ve missed as the solution to warm weather hats, we’re just back to trucker hats now. Can’t beat the classics!
But it is not a true trucker hat if it isn't snapback and have an opening for your mullet.

I just noticed the A's replacement of the apostrophe with the star. That's awesome... the problem is, the hats are meshed

Houston's should have been an asterisk on the upper right corner
(I'm kidding, and the hat already has a star)
