What I would like to see is a combined perfect game mainly to just annoy the purists.

Yeah, hard for me to imagine there isn't some creative accounting going on here.
I am sure there is. But specifically for Bale, I think he just simply wanted a change. With his accomplishments, he might get some endorsement deals in LA that would probably exceed what he could have made in salary at Cardiff. That is on top what I mentioned about the World Cup.

This move makes sense for LAFC. They get a quality player for the rest of this season without having to use a DP spot. At the same time it should also definitely help Bale. Bale wasn't featured much in Real Madrid this past season and he will get plenty of training and preparation for the World Cup. Then he will have plenty of rest after the World Cup if he decides to say with LAFC or even until the January transfer window.

Lol yup.
I mean I was young when they knocked it down but what i recall the old Exhibition Stadium felt like a big version of a grandstand at a town's fall fairgrounds. It was bad.
Felt like? It WAS a big version of a grandstand at town's fairgrounds... and it was on the NORTH side of the stadium

If people are going back and forth over the ruling, maybe the rule in of itself should be changed. Either a player coming off the bench has to wait until the player complete gets off the ice, or create a exchange zone demarcation like box lacrosse.

It could not be any worse than this monstrosity
I think BMO field had previously had temporary seating at the south end in 2016 for the Grey Cup. So it wasn't without precedent. I am more intrigued how the north end will end up looking like. Maybe it will end up looking different in four years?

USL Championships Sacramento Republic upset LA Galaxy 2-1 to advance to the US Open Cup semifinals. They are the first non MLS club to make it to the Open Cup semifinals since the 2017 FC Cincinnati club. Sacramento await the winner of Sporting Kansas City and USL League Ones Union Omaha
Sacramento beat LA only because Tim Donaghy wasn't the referee...

Absolutely. Audi is too small, FedEx is in the middle of nowhere and a dump, and Baltimore isn't where Bob Kraft is. Or where the nation's capital is, for that matter.
While I think the northeast corridor is overrepresented, I think the committee mostly got it right. If I had my way, I'd get rid of Levi Stadium and Boston for Denver and Baltimore, but I don't feel especially strong about that. And while I'd say pick one of two for the Texas stadiums, they are really good multi-purpose stadiums and close to Mexico, so it makes sense.
The more I look at that map, the more it's a miracle Seattle's included. It's going to be so awesome.
I think Seattle was a natural choice. The decision to select Vancouver probably helps out with the logistics.
I think Santa Clara was chosen because of its proximity to VISA who has long been a FIFA sponsor.

The Brewers should sell actual BBQ grills with the patch design.

Real talk, this title from GS proves how much of a gutless, coward KD really is. This team now won titles before KD joined and after. Proving that they never needed him to win multiple titles. It was the most shameful and cowardice title chasing attempt from a great player that I’ve ever seen.
Steph is 100x the player KD ever was or will be.
I would have to disagree a bit. 2015 was different because there wasn't much of a game plan for Steph and Klay.
Warriors signed KD after losing to the Cavs in 2016 (after beating the Thunder with KD). What they needed another quality player, a bigger one, to get them over. It just happened to be KD and the result was beating the Cavs the next two years.
If anything, 2019 proved they needed KD. Yes, they got to the finals without him, but I think they needed him to match Kawhi.
Sure, they probably did not need KD specifically all that time, but they needed a bigger body type to match the opposition. Andrew Wiggins provided much of what KD had brought. I think he was much a factor in this title run.

You right. You got me.
And why did you bring up the Cowboys? They’ve been as irrelevant and pathetic in the playoffs as the Celtics have been in these past 30+ years.

You really wanna know the trippy thing about it? He and LeBron were born in the same place...
And if the Dubs win this series, both of them would have 4 titles.

Most countries after a World Cup: "so what the hell are we going to do with these stadiums?"
USA after a World Cup: "Okay NFL. you guys can have your stadiums back."
We know what will happen to the stadiums that will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but what will happen to the 2022 stadiums after it ends? Has Russia even used all of the stadiums from 2018? Or Brazil from 2014?
This stuff fascinates me more than the games (although the games themselves do interest me), what happens to the facilities after events like a World Cup and Olympics are over? I am moreso fascinated by the fate of these venues in 2022 than I am in 2026.
I heard something about one of the 2022 venues being dismantled and rebuilt somewhere (in Africa?) I am sure most of the Brazilian and Russian (and South African) venues are used by club teams.
I am more fascinated with what happens to Olympic venues after the games. There is the Atlanta Olympic stadium that has been repurposed twice, and then, there are many of the Athens 2004 venues which have been left to rot.

I know all of the Browns’ failures over the last *checks watch* 23 years should make them a sympathetic figure, but handing a dude with a, shall we say, checkered past over 200 million smackaroos in guaranteed money basically takes any goodwill they had and burns it to a crisp. They alienated the first not-garbage QB they had in literally 2 decades for this. They deserve every bit of pain that’s coming their way over the next year plus.
For all their ineptitude.... I would feel better if I was a Lions fan right now.

Random thought: the Arizona Diamondbacks should come with a cap logo with interlocking letters, eg 'AD' to match the cap logos of all the other teams in the NL West

The Denver Broncos are now nicknamed the Walmart Broncos... they have found the prefered buyer in Rob Walton and he'll be buying them for 4.5 billion dollars as reported by Forbes.
If that's true... can you imagine the next game between the Broncos and Rams?
