Ya, the Angels are and will always be garbo under Arte, but I applaud guys like Trout who stay loyal, don't force trades or ring chase. As twisted as this might come off, sports needs dudes like that. I don't think I want to see Trout win a ring at age 40 as a Yankees pinch hitter. Not sure he wants that either.

So you've decided to defend the Astros cheating by saying the NFL and their refs are rigging games for the Chiefs.

Are we all tired of both those teams? Hell yes. However, the difference is I respect what the Chiefs have done in terms of NOT CHEATING TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS AND NEVER GOING UNPUNISHED FOR IT. The only punishment some Astros players will probably ever face for cheating the game is never getting into Cooperstown. If Bonds and Rose aren't getting in, Altuve and Bregman sure as hell aren't.

There are times to go for it on 4th when logic says the percentages are on your side. Those occurrences I have no problem with because 31 other coaches would be doing the same thing. It's when Staley goes against those percentages which have cost his team.

Okay. The Chargers have a top-12 kicker.. LA is on this graphic because Staley leaves points on the field with his horrible in-game decision making. How many of those Ls become wins if Staley takes the FG instead of going for it on 4th and 5 on the ten? Another one of those close losses was the SNF game where he called that OT timeout vs the Raiders which literally cost the Chargers a playoff spot. Staley is really truly terrible.

Brandon Staley's "always go for it" mentality has cost the Chargers at least 5 wins since he's arrived. This clown belongs in college where not attempting FGs and never punting, which is incredibly stupid, is actually accepted and embraced.
