  1. Any of these in green and yellow will work just as well
  2. The rumor is 6 hubs, but I see them doing 2 or 3 to save more money. One of them will 100% be Canton. And still they won't dub a team "Canton" or "Ohio" -- which would logically bring in local attendance.
  3. Which stands for absolutely nothing in the year 2023.
  4. The league is floundering financially (hence the merger). I highly doubt they would go the trouble to the trademark the name if it were just a placeholder. Would be a complete waste of time, money and resources.
  5. That being said, the NFL already has a minor league/feeder system. It's called the NCAA.
  6. From the sounds of it, yup. While "UXFL" comes off a little ridiculous, that acronym screams to the public this league is the result of a USFL/XFL merger. "NSFL" makes it sounds like it's an entirely new spring league, ala UFL & AAF. Unidentifiable basically.
  7. Those were phenomenal markets, especially STL and DC! Just in general, having any game at a neutral site (aside from a championship game) is sad and reeks of poverty. And we saw in the UFSL how empty those neutral game stadiums were. Having 200 fans at the game and having a "Pittsburgh" team that will never play in the state of Pennsylvania is a real slap in the face.
  8. The heavy rumor remains a late spring start with 10-12 teams and 6 hub cities (UGH!) - Arlington Renegades - Birmingham Stallions - Canton [Fill in the blank} - DC Defenders - Houston Gamblers - Memphis Showboats - Michigan Panthers - New Orleans Breakers - Orlando Guardians - San Antonio Brahmas - Seattle Sea Dragons - St Louis Battlehawks
  9. The merger is officially official. The National Spring Football League will debut in 2024.
  10. Broncos TBD? Is that because we think Sean Payton might green light this garbo again?
  11. You're not wrong. Tho it was coming, as many media outlets, announcers, etc were calling them just "Washington" a decade prior.
  12. Disagree. I think Miami nailed their new logo. (Do we call it the Cyberdolphin?) Glad Miami moved off theor previous logo, as it would look sooo out of place with their current uniform. To add, cute animals/dudes wearing a helmets in logos got pretty campy and outdated, like some of their contemporaries at the time.
  13. NFL Reverse Retros would just be nothing more than a slew of fashion jerseys from the early 00s.
  14. You mean do stuff like this, which is 100000x inferior to just doing true throwbacks?
  15. It's more than obvious. Been playing on Zach Wilson's level all season. Win or lose, Burrow needs to sit next week to get himself right.
  16. Tonight's games have been total ass -- but it's football, so I'm still glued -- at we got another Scorigami.
  17. And many of them are full stormtrooper -- white helmet/jersey/pants/socks. Gross. Colts Bills Dolphins Bengals
  18. It might be money-saving but it sure as hell isn't profitable. A failure. That's why they're merging with XFL.
  19. Agreed. The Broncos are more than welcome to wear 80s gear 3x a year in alternate form. They work great as throwbacks, but I don't care to see them 16 times a year forever and ever. And to bail on the current look when it carries such a CHAMPIONSHIP tradition for a team who was in the same sentence as the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills pre-cyberhorse. If the Broncos were to modify their look (since it seems like ownership is kicking the tires on the idea), a Cyberhorse/throwback hybrid would be acceptable, I suppose.
