  1. The only Cowboys SB ring I don't like is this one... All the others are great.
  2. The use of the colored stones is really cool. Of the two, I prefer the 2006 Steelers Super Bowl ring. It's one of my favorite SB rings. I've never liked the shape of their 2009 rings.
  3. Yeah, I've seen people do that. This is a picture from one of the websites. As far as I can tell, they are using pictures of the rings they make. All the boxes are exactly alike for each ring. And I think it's pretty obvious that the ring pictured here is a replica. Thanks for the tips. I had no problem with you talking about your blog. It was you and the other guy always fighting about things that bothered me. That's why I was glad the mods stepped in.
  4. A question for our ring experts in this thread. A couple days ago, I ran across a video on YouTube in which a guy was doing a review of a replica 1995 Cowboys Super Bowl ring. The ring was purchased off the website of a company in China that makes all sorts of replica championship rings. The guy had nothing but good things to say about his counterfeit ring. After seeing that video, I dug around and found a couple more reviews of these Chinese replica rings. They got great reviews too. The rings looked pretty good in the videos. They aren't going to fool anyone, they looked like replica rings, but they still weren't bad at all. My question: do you guys know anything about these Chinese counterfeit/replica championship rings? Are they worth taking a shot and dropping 200-300 bucks on one or are they a total rip off?
  5. I like the top left and bottom right. I really like the top right. The only one I don't like is bottom left.
  6. Looks like the mods removed all the posts that were basically nothing more than advertisements for a website and Ebay listings. Well done, fellas.
  7. Same here. In fact, it may be the #1 WS Champs ring on my list. My favorite World Series* ring is actually an AL Champs ring. *I guess it's technically a World Series ring.
  8. Simulpost! Very nice ring, but it reminds me a lot of this one...
  9. Same here. It gives the game a goofy sort of gravitas.
  10. Seeing the pics of the people wearing Super Bowl rings, I figured I'd post this picture. It's from the 2013 Ohio State Fair. Some former Buckeyes players were working a charity booth at the fair. Former Buckeye DB Donnie Evege noticed my World Series ring and asked me about it. Long story short, we ended up trying on each other's rings. I couldn't get over how huge the 2010 Big Ten Championship ring was (it's the one on my pinky.) If anyone is wondering, this is Donnie Evege. He wasn't a star player but I remember his time with the team.
  11. This is how I display my one and only ring. It's a fan ring my GF bought me for Christmas a couple years ago. She once asked me if I could have anything I wanted, what would it be? I told her a World Series ring. Long story short, she saw that the Cardinals were selling 2011 rings on their website and bought me one for Christmas. (Has my name on it and everything) It's not a "real" World Series ring, but I wouldn't trade it for 10 "real" rings. That's not to say that I wouldn't love to have a collection like yours - I definitely would - but this one has some serious sentimental value. And it's a real conversation starter. People ask me about it all the time and I love telling them about it.
  12. Give me a ring I can actually wear over some gaudy looking huge ring that looks ridiculous when worn. The Seahawks did a great job with their ring.
  13. Uhhhh......wtf? Never seen that before. Is that picture a hoax by any chance? Has he been getting on of those every year or did Boston just give him one as a gift for some reason??? That is really weird. I know POTUS usually gets rings, but not the commissioner..... Weird. At the Baseball Hall of Fame they have a World Series Ring display and every ring has the name of the MLB Commissioner from that season on it. My guess is a ring for HOF display is made every season .
  14. Great name. The logo is another in a long line of the Brandiose "universe" characters. Someday, Brandiose is going to put out a comic book.
  15. That is a great looking ring. Way better than their previous ring.
  16. If you don't want to type out the code, just click on the Special BB Code icon. It's the icon between the eraser and Font window. To use it, simply highlight the text you want to add a spoiler tag to then click on the icon. A window pops up that says "Special BB Code" just open the drop down menu from that window and click on spoiler. It's much easier than I'm making it sound.
  17. Selig says "relocation is not an option" so of course a bunch of "I hope they move to Montreal" posts immediately follow.
  18. Don't they get a separate ring from the Orange Bowl?
  19. That's nicer than most championship rings. Certainly better than the last two Packer rings. Agreed. That seems to be a trend these days. The Conference/League championship rings looking better than the actual championship rings.
  20. You understand that longest post of the day isn't a good thing, right?
  21. And this, boys and girls, is one of the reasons why the nation despises The Ohio State University. Technically, if the entire nation "despises" us, that would mean that the Buckeyes have no American fans. Judging by the fact that we pack every place we play, I'm guessing at least a few (million) people in the nation don't despise us. Sounds to me like you're just jealous that you couldn't get accepted to THE Ohio State University. Now that we've settled that, I think I'll put on my Ohio State class ring, stare at my diplomas, and be arrogant for a while. Seriously though, I'm not sure how I feel about that ring. Part of me thinks it's OK that they had it made, but a bigger part of me thinks that it's kind of stupid. In either case, it's ugly as .
