Brewers fans love what CC did for this town in just half a season here. I believe that he is in the wrong uniform now as he said he wanted to play for an NL team during his time as a free agent. Interesting how a boat load of money and a chance to win a World Series changes your mind.

I think Bourque's number was retired because he was the "driving force"/"motivating factor" of the 2001 Stanley Cup. Maybe Roy, Sakic, Bourque and probably Forsberg's banner looks like the old jerseys because they spent the cast majority of their careers in that style? -Dan

The wings logo should have been in red one the '08 ring. It would have popped nicely.

But thats the fun of sports we can like or hate a team for any reason. The could be a darn good reason or a silly one like mine. I was never a huge Sox fan. I owned the jersey because it looks good and I got it dirt cheap. But because Obama is a fan I won't wear it. Just like I passed up on a sweet vintage Eagles t-shirt because they signed Mike Vick. There are certian bands/singers I don't listen to because I think the singer or somebody in the band is a total d-bag. It's no different than somebody buying something because of a celebrity endorsement. I am choosing to not buy or wear something because of an "endorsement". -Dan
