  1. How many is it - 5 or 50? You can't even get your story straight.
  2. Except most counterfeits aren't even close to identical. Furthermore, you can't solve the world's problems by yourself, but you could stop contributing to human rights issues in third-world countries by not buying counterfeits.
  3. Yeah, because it's SO possible for third-world children to do that without an education.
  4. From who? If people get laughed at for wearing fake Jordans or fake Rolexes, I'm sure you get laughed at for wearing fake jerseys. Really? How come there's never any noticeable improvement in wages and conditions in the sweatshops that make the fakes? After all, all the money people spend on illegal goods MUST be going to a good cause, right?
  5. They're both illegal but the former can be excused while the latter is absolutely disgusting. To equate the two is ridiculous.
  6. Really? There's no shame in laughing at an ugly, tawdry counterfeit jersey. There's plenty of shame in putting your money towards sweatshops.
  7. There's a gigantic difference between going 1mph over the speed limit and directly funding child labor and other human rights abuses.
  8. I'm sure you have been called worse, and with good reason. Furthermore, this thread isn't entitled "Thinking about doing anything wrong ever?" so the whole "I bet you've never done anything wrong" defense falls flat.
  9. No, the bottom line is that you're a pompous, selfish, egotistical windbag who doesn't know when to quit.
  10. He played QB in the NFL, why would he change that up for some no name league? I don't know, maybe it's the fact that he's well over 300 pounds?
  11. The scary part is that he's the starting quarterback for the team. Wow.
  12. Joe Horn (again): Couldn't find a picture of him with the Shreveport Pirates.
  13. So in your world, it would be okay for me to steal cable, since it's not harming anyone and anyone who objects has probably gone 1mph over the speed limit before, so they're hypocrites?
  14. He's rolling his eyes because you still have yet to grasp that buying bootleg jerseys, regardless of their quality or the buyer's financial situation, is illegal.
  15. Suuuure thing. Last thing we want is someone getting cranky over a uniform thread. I think you'll get over it, Milo Meningocele. Both of you guys killed the joke.
  16. How about the 133rd overall pick (5th round)?

  17. No, we're not. Can't speak for jerseys but I know that counterfeit Jordans and the like get a bum rap among the general public, so it wouldn't be a stretch to suggest that many non-logo nerds would frown on fake jerseys. The thievery of intellectual property on this large of a scale DOES impact the jersey market. Nobody was saying you weren't a "real" sports fan. What is a "real" sports fan anyway? Sounds like the kind of crap that Cleveland fans blow out of their ass in an attempt to feel superior to Miami fans. Dude, it's a sports logos and uniforms forum. What other issues are we going to discuss - world peace?
  18. "Us" = the people in this thread who are against counterfeiting, including me because I agree with them.
  19. It cracks me up that people still don't understand why members of a sports logos/uniforms board would dislike counterfeitting. Look, nobody's claiming they've never broken a law. What pisses us off is the stupid justifications people use for why they think counterfeit jerseys should be legal. They shouldn't be - it's a bunch of poor-quality garbage, and furthermore, counterfeit jersey sales harm intellectual property a lot more than, say, downloading MP3's. At least people who illegally download are doing it for personal use instead of for profit.
