  1. I love the delaying of the inevitable. I also want to see the death of Phoenix hockey. It is so irritating to see all the lucky breaks this franchise gets, in a city no one cares of, or even fundamentally understands of, hockey. It is so frustrating to see fans of deserving cities like Quebec (and for a while Winnipeg) suffer in misery because of the incompetent decisions made to keep Phoenix as a market. It's like the NHL is a well groomed person who has that huge ugly-looking back zit (Coyotes), and refuses to pop it open, deciding to live with it despite the painful results. I think the day the Coyotes do indeed definitely leave, everyone on the CCSLC should have a ticker-tape parade and celebrate like people did on V.E. Day.
  2. I'd rather get a ring from there than one from the... - "Little Caesars Hot-and-Ready Pizza Bowl," or the - "Buffalo Wild Wings Tangy Sauce Bowl," or the - "Meineke Car Care and Oil Change Bowl," or the - "Overdraft Fee Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl." Man has corporate sponsorship ruined college football's bowl season.
  3. Holy crap, those were just awful. All the new Coyote templates are the same to begin with. The Seattle one is so much of a Starbucks ripoff, there's no way a pro team would be allowed to play in Vegas, the Quebec one looks eerie similar to the New Orleans Fleur-de-lis, and all the work for the Toronto one is just putting a blue maple leaf in the picture (possible trademark violation). Luckily, the Royal Half is just a blog, with attempted humor attempts (not so much here).
  4. This Nashville Predators Powerplay is brought to you by Hardee's! Not as bad as the Kings: "Ladies and gentlemen, it's a DISC Sports and Spine power play!"
  5. "One day more to relocation, we will nip it in the bud!" I swear after nearly 23 years...I still do not know exactly what the phrase means.
  6. These Padres road unis... ...are the best road unis in their history. Not to mention the stylization of their city name... ...is beautiful.
  7. Not just Obama, but ever since Nixon, the POTUS has always bent over for the long dickes of special interests, corporations and a polarizing Congress.
  8. All the banners for all teams remain up, regardless of who's playing. The difference is that depending on who's playing, the arena lights spotlight on that team's banners only. So for Laker games, only the Laker banners are spotlighted, and so are those for the Kings and Sparks when they have their games. For the Clippers, there's no spotlight focused on any of the banners.
  9. Apparently, the Kings' championship ring design has been finalized: If it is this, then sweet!!!
  10. Here's my take on this whole wheelie-neelie: there aren't enough Coyotes fans to save the team, even after this West Finals. Some of the fans only came out because they played an LA team; there's a hatred for all teams LA by Phoenix people. It goes back to the Lakers-Suns or Dodgers-Diamondbacks battles. The whole Cali-Arizona wars. These people don't know hockey (why do you think the only chant they knew how to shout was "Beat LA").
  11. Looking at this makes me see this: Most regular season wins by a non-championship LA Lakers team (63) ever, and their loss to the Suns still bugs me. Add to the fact that I was born in that year and that irritates me even more.
  12. Hey everyone. Check out the ring from the LA Galaxy's 2011 MLS Cup title run. Basic, but sweet (considering it's soccer):
  13. Hey. How's it going? I wanna ask: where did you get your championship banners on your sig? I want some of those for my teams. Thanks anyway.

  14. Yeah. The Simpsons are better than Family Guy. I thought everyone knew this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKVTmx1zos8&feature=related Have you heard about this? About what?
  15. The links you've given are to pages where you can view the image, not the image itself. If you take "?action=view&current=" out of each link, that should give the link to the image itself, which should work fine in your sig. I, at long f****** last, got them all. Thanks everyone for helping out!!!!!! So appreciative.
  16. OK, I got the small banners to go, but the large banners are still oversized, according to this site. When I post those, it says "Picture too large, resize under 860x140." I've even split the large banners to 2 subsections (455x119 and 454x117 in dimensions) and the error of resizing or "you cannot use that extension" still comes up. Here are the links to the two subsections: http://s1110.photobucket.com/albums/h457/dbadefense1990/?action=view&current=labanners1a.jpg http://s1110.photobucket.com/albums/h457/dbadefense1990/?action=view&current=labanners1b.jpg Thanks anyway for all the help.
  17. http://s1110.photobucket.com/albums/h457/dbadefense1990/?action=view&current=labanners1.jpg&newest=1 and http://s1110.photobucket.com/albums/h457/dbadefense1990/?action=view&current=labanners2.jpg&newest=1 Those are the signatures that I want to use.
  18. 1. You have to reach 500 posts before you can change that. 2. Change your avatar, not your profile pic. 3. put img in brackets on the left and /img in brackets on the right. But that image won't work anyways because it's over the allowed size. 1. OK got that down. 2. I put a link to my Gravitar account, but it just gives me their general Gravitar logo, not my own avatar. 3. I resized the signature to the maximum limit on MS Paint, then on Photobucket itself, and yet, I keep on geting a message saying "[#10210] You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board." Wtf is going on?
  19. I have 3 questions to ask: How do I change the member title from "Member" to something else so that it can appear on these boards? Does anyone know why my profile pic is not on display when I post things around these boards? And lastly: my signature is in the form of a URL redirection to Photobucket. How do I edit my signatures so that they appear on this site? Thanks to anyone that can help me.
