Why? People get too caught up in somebody being a bad head coach so they must be a bad position coach too when the reality is that being a head coach is a completely different skillset and that Nagy did well enough as a position coach and OC (with KC, even) previously to get hired as a head coach to begin with.
edit: Besides, I think Mahomes is well-beyond the point where even a terrible QB coach would have much of an impact on him.

I didn’t know Mahomes had the balls to do this but way to go.
This guy walked back his report.

Lol, what?
Roethlisberger has marginally better stats despite having had considerably more talent around him. Swap the two and the fortunes of neither the Lions nor the Steelers changes much. Stafford didn't get Le'Veon Bell... he got Joique Bell. And before "but Calvin Johnson!" -- they played together five full seasons, three of which were Stafford's worst. The line still sucked, they still couldn't run, and had Scott freakin' Linehan at OC. And Ben has hardly lacked talent at WR in his career.
I don't think Stafford is a Hall of Famer if he were to retire today or really even all that close but some of ya'll are acting like he's Jon Kitna or something. He spent almost the entirety of his career with a franchise that couldn't provide him a competent defense, capable pass protection, or a running game to lean on and the first year he got those things he won a Super Bowl.

Matthew Stafford is better than Ben Roethlisberger. Would seem to me having great offensive lines, wide receivers, and defenses for the entirety of your career would be a bigger advantage than playing for an inept franchise that nobody cares about.

I don't know if this was mentioned, but Rams WR Van Jefferson's wife was rushed out of the stadium on a stretcher after going into labor at some point during the game.
So he had a pretty big day.

Aaron Donald is the best player in the league, top 5 defensive player of all time. What a moment for him. Sealing the title on back to back plays.
Gets annoying seeing people say Donald wasn't doing anything when even just eating double and triple teams is having a massive impact on the game. The guy's incredible!
Bummed for Cincy fans and disappointed Kroenke got a Super Bowl but I do like McVay, so I'm glad he got one.

Welp, Harbaugh robbed us of some carousel fun but crank that bad boy up anyway because Bryan Harsin allegedly pulled a Bobby Petrino and may not be long for the Auburn job.

McPherson again!

Colinsworth brings up a good point—all 3 divisional games have been walk-off field goals. If Bills/Chiefs goes down the same route, this would be the most entertaining postseason ever.
Pretty sure just the Patriots getting blasted out by a perfect offensive performance alone made it the most entertaining postseason ever.

Brady has unreal luck. This game would've been long over if not for the FSU alums on LAR.

I would agree with the Sewell thing -- and thought the Bengals were dumb at the time -- if they didn't get the production they have out of Chase. Given his history with Burrow, he was almost a guarantee to be good.
Former Gator Evan McPherson with the win. Four this year!

Bengals got screwed on the INT. Can't see how they can say he had possession before it hit the ground thrte.

Glad I'm not a Giants fan.
Edit: I was duped. Still glad I'm not a Giants fan, though.

Y’all remember how the sunlight was shining through the endzone windows in Jerry World? Yeah apparently those windows have curtains just for the purpose of blocking the sun during certain times of the day, but Jerry refuses to have them closed because he likes how it looks.. I wish I was making that up.
Does make for some incredible photos, though.

Anyone want to see Jim Harbaugh leave to go back to the NFL just to re-start the coaching carousel again?
I do! But realistically, Michigan would probably just promote Gattis, I would think.

No but he bump him later which cost Cowboys all time.
Yesterday Raiders was screwed with a whistle touchdown and today there is another controversy where referee play a main role.
He spotted the ball. It's his job. Blame the Cowboys for the dumb play call or for not giving the official the ball right away.

What the hell happened in last seconds?! IMO It was a ref fault so Cowboys should have back those 3 seconds to play
Why would it be the officials fault? He has to spot the ball, but Dak decided to give the ball to his center instead. That ref even hauled ass up field so he could spot it as quickly as possible.

Todd Graham chased out of Hawaii, so they're in the hunt for a new head coach.
Rolovich seems like an obvious choice if Hawaii's covid rules allow for that moron to hold that job.

Kubiak was "saddled" with Osweiler. Pederson was "saddled" with Foles.
Despite having not having their QB1, both coaches led their teams to the Lombardi.
Saban didn't get his QB1 and quit. Ran away like a coward to Tuscaloosa.
Fair. Thinking either is a better football coach is still absurd, but whatever.

Couldn't cut the mustard in the pros (in typical BB coaching tree fashion), ran away to the minor leagues.
Gary Kubiak or Doug Pederson winning 1 SB >>> Saban winning a dozen college titles
Took a 4-12 team to 9-7. Following offseason, the Dolphin's team doctor didn't clear despite Drew Brees so he got saddled with Culpepper instead.
The last point is absurd.

The salary cap is already just a minor inconvenience with the way teams work around it.
