  1. So, merging with the MW to up the PAC to to 15 and keeping it on par with the other Power conferences with 15-18 teams per while maintaining at least some stability isn’t relevant?
  2. Geographically, it’s the next closest conference to them and instead of the last four teams disbanding into different conferences, it makes the most sense.
  3. I believe I’ve pointed it out before, but on the previous WFT jersey, there was one particular cut that used the bottom stripe all the way around the sleeve, but stopped the top stripe at the seam
  4. - Fair assessment. Agreed. - I guess I should’ve been more specific, but again agreed. Throwback logo is better suited for this set - To me, it has what it takes to get there - it’s just a personal preference. I just like the look
  5. Roanoke College is getting a football team (and cheerleading and marching band) starting in 2024 after an 82 year hiatus. They’ll play in the D-III Old Dominion Athletic Conference. https://www.roanoke.edu/about/news/maroon_football_campaign
  6. This is embarrassingly insane. Unless a miracle happens, the PAC-12 4 absolutely has to merge with the Mountain West to remain relevant.
  7. Not exactly a thrift store, but spotted a load of blank Washington Football Team jerseys at a Marshall’s for $30 each
  8. Ah, I love Jets uniform discourse! • The current set is perfectly fine • The helmet is the best in the league • When paired up correctly, the set is in the top 10 • Here’s a doozy, the black jersey is the best of the main three
  9. Mizzou’s Head Football Coach made some interesting points about realignment- He’s right. Student Athletes really weren’t considered in this at all. Especially those outside of football. https://sports.yahoo.com/missouris-eli-drinkwitz-asks-a-good-question-about-athletes-mental-health-after-big-tens-latest-expansion-224121448.html
  10. Honestly, WBR needs to come to the realization that they just can’t compete anymore and go for a merger with Penske. It would probably be more attractive to potential drivers to drive the Penske 21 rather than the Wood Brothers 21.
  11. New segment on the show- Oddly Ohtani Specifically Shohei
  12. A lot of your names are super clever, but you missed an opportunity of a lifetime by not naming Pittsburgh’s d-league team the Erie Iron. The absolute linguistic chaos that would ensue on people trying to correctly pronounce it.
  13. The problem with that is the team would most definitely do green monochrome as much as they could. I’d rather it be white pants and silver pants with green socks only.
  14. I must be on a silver pants kick because that’s all the Eagles should have, IMO. Keep the current green, get better striping and a better number font.

Oh I just got an idea. The M with a cardinal feather underneath
  16. Florida State is looking into likely leaving the ACC due to revenue sharing https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/38122958/florida-state-consider-leaving-acc-due-revenue-distribution?platform=amp
  17. I just struggle to see how Wood Brothers Racing is even a viable race team anymore. Why Burton continues to pilot the 21 is beyond me. They’re sitting at 99 wins. Are they waiting around for that special one? If so, Burton ain’t the guy. Either find a proven ford driver, fully merge with Penske or another ford team, or close up shop. For such an iconic team, they’re bottom of the barrel and have been for quite some time.
  18. On today’s installment of oddly specific-
  19. Since when was this logo a thing? https://www.lids.com/nfl-seattle-seahawks/seattle-seahawks-new-era-city-originals-9fifty-snapback-hat-cream/navy/o-3505+t-81939386+p-6800119924036+z-9-1736703899?_ref=p-DLP:m-GRID:i-r11c1:po-34 EDIT: I don’t think it ever was a thing. Seems to be New Era designed logos specifically for this iteration of team hats. DOUBLE EDIT: Okay, this was a thing. Thanks @JQK
  20. Fair points, but again, I’m not sure how comparing individual throwback uniforms to an entire team set is all that accurate of depicting the latter as outdated. Especially considering what came before it. Comparing the regular sets of all three teams (Arizona, Seattle, Tennessee) and the Cardinals are the clear winners, IMO. There’s nothing flashy about them, they’re moderately traditional*, and take inspiration from past uniforms. They’re everything of what a uniform should look like. So what if the helmet is speckled and the wordmark is on the sleeves. Boo hoo. Look, it’s obvious the Oilers and Seahawks throwbacks are absolutely the top of their class, but throwbacks have no business being compared to current uniforms. *Full disclosure, I don’t like monochrome as much as the next guy.
  21. I wouldn’t say Arizona looks dated. While not the greatest, it’s a solid and safe set. Complete with traditional striping. Much like in comparison to the uniforms you selectively chose to try to prove a point. Also, you’re comparing Arizona’s entire, very traditionally aesthetic set to two throwback uniforms. Tennessee- The Titans have one of, if not, the worst regular set in the league. A set that is very much ridiculed by most. Seattle- Nike’s guinea pig from 2012. All the manufacturer’s aesthetic bells and whistles which pales in comparison to the very traditional throwback of the 90s and rightfully so. If you want to accurately portray outdatedness, compare the regular sets of all three teams
  22. This is a great point because the Throwback set wouldn’t necessarily have to come from the same era. A home Bills red helmet alt and the standing buffalo away alt is perfectly fine.
