  1. Right players, wrong era aside, those uniforms are actually pretty cool looking.
  2. You're kidding, right?I think he's referring to the #1 and eagle-less mask. Oh!
  3. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way. The early 80s uniforms though, were pretty solid looking. I' m starting to love them.
  4. Gray should be brought back as the underbill color for some MLB teams.
  5. These are three of my favorite alt jerseys of all time, even if they may be BFBS:
  6. Since we can celebrate him going back to the “right” team (Detroit Tigers) , Alan Trammell in the uniform of the Arizona Diamondbacks:
  7. Can I nominate this for post of the day?No. Let me explain how Post of the Day works - You must be invited to the council of 12. Once then you have to propose a vote by writing a handwritten letter to each member of the Council of 12. The 37 member council meets in a secret location 4 days after the postage date on said letter (not Toronto, I'll tell ya that much). From there they each cast yay or nay votes on the proposed post by placing a photo of the new Blue Jays uniforms (yay) or a photo of the new Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniforms (nay) into a box. Chris Creamer himself reads the votes. If 69% (this is an internet message board) of the vote dictates that said post is worthy of PotD then all 19 keyholders must simultaneously turn their matching keys on a second box where a flashdrive holding the png file of the PotD belt is kept. Then it is up to one of the keyholding members to feel like going through the trouble of responding to said post with the image of the belt. Acheiving Council status is very difficult. One way to assure you'll never be on the council is to nominate lame posts for Post of the Day. Nevermind, this is PotD worthy! Quick question, why is a 37 member council known as the Council of 12? Was it originally just 12 guys, and 15 more were added later or something like that? Wouldn't that make it the council of 27 then? *facepalm* Yes, please excuse my bad math. I wasn't really thinking that all the way through.

  9. I agree. Hate the team, love the uniforms. I' mother same way with the Chicago Blackhawks, or as I like to call them, the [censored] -cago Crap-Hawks. You've gotta love rivalries.
  10. I really like the jerseys worn by Team USA in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey.
  11. Too bad only one out of those two uniforms were discontinued. You should see a doctor because your hate-boner for the Lightning's jerseys has lasted a lot longer than 4 hours. Seriously, this is like the third post you've made today expressing your dislike of their jerseys. I think I overdosed on Hate-Agra. I've unitentionally been a reverse version on PhantomDreamer today.
  12. Both of these uniforms are the best worn by their respective franchises. Yeah, that's right, I'm saying the Nikefied Broncos are better than the classic orange uniforms. Come at me, haters.
  13. Too bad only one out of those two uniforms were discontinued.
  14. This thread has just gotten way better from where it was at.
  15. Keep up this amazing awesomeness! I think a famous Tiger mascot must've been describing these logos when he was quoted as saying “They're Gr-r-reat"!
  16. Remind me - is that the 1960-1971 road uniform script?Yep, the one they wore just before the switch to pullovers. The uniforms were worn by Tigers stars like Al Kaline, Willie Horton, Jim Northrup, Denny McLain, Bill Freehan, and Mickey Lolich (as well as the rest of the team) during the 1968 World Series. ColorWerx, I love you, in a bro to fellow bro way. You did an amazing job recreating a thing of absolute beauty.
  17. I love thick striping on baseball uniforms.
