i'm in a weird transitional state where i'm starting to recognize the black gear doesn't fit with the Adidas version of the Avs as much as the original, but also still not 100% on board with the blue. I'm seeking help and soon i will make it.

Same feeling. I thought black was fine for a while, but seeing them use blue instead has kind of altered my perception. Compared to the blue, black made it too muddied and made it seem that it was the second color of the scheme over blue. They look better without the black, but the blue still feels weird to me so it might take a good while for me to adjust... but I'm pretty confident I will.

  2. Something I just noticed about is the colors for Washington via Pantone. From what it looks like, they changed the shade of the burgundy to more of a maroon color.

Was this announced at any point during the unveiling process because I must've missed it. I also haven't seen the new and old uniforms side-by-side, so I don't know how different they are to one another.

  3. I knew they were gonna change even before the rumors or leaks; THIS is the Cavaliers. Like almost half the league, they don't want a consistent identity and apparently they are fine with that. They just want to make money with an every-now-and-then "fresh" look and when it gets stale, they spin the wheel.

They'll probably either change the shade of colors again or add a new one in about 4-5 years.

People get so mad at an honest statement.

It did come off as a little arrogant on Lacob's behalf (and no one likes hearing arrogance), but I don't think that was on the level of disdain which revolved around Durant's decision.

  5. Miami isn't winning the series, even if they win Game 6. I give the Celtics credit where its due with their defense, but the Heat team itself has also been a no-show for a majority of the series, injuries or not. I hate to say it, but their peak was the 2020 Finals. Honestly, the Bucks are better than this team.

  6. Golden State is ABSOLUTELY winning the title. Like someone mentioned earlier, it was a little easy to write them off because they were down for a few years with significant injuries. They're back though, so for me, it's really just a "nothing to see here" moment. And even though they've only gone against one-man teams so far, that's not their fault.

There is part of me that finds the possiblity of another Miami-Dallas final quite fascinating.

That's what I want to see. They've already met twice, it could potentially be one of those little championship rivalries you see (not BOS-LAL level but at their own level).

  8. It doesn't really help that Milwaukee also doesn't have their second best player playing. But excuses aside, a Game 7 was definitely not out of the line for this series. It wouldn't surprise me if either team advances as I think they are fairly matched. I'm not overlooking the Heat though; they're a number one seed for a reason.
