I did too, but that look needed a cleanup at the very least. Oh well, bring on the silly.

They went from being made of steel, to rubber.

The Guardians is actually pretty cool. I was surprised to learn that no team has ever taken New York's gothic architecture as a foundation for a sports identity.
I'm actually disappointed in Dallas. They couldn't have used anything besides another cowboy/western theme? Is that all that city is known for?

I hope that's not actually the name. Firebirds is already in the Ontario Hockey League, but it's also just kinda meh.

Yeah I saw it used in the Brewers Team Store too; I forgot to mention that one. But wow, that's pretty awesome that it's being used in a bunch of capacities... talk about city pride! It should give them more of a reason to make it official.

When I was in the Milwaukee area last year, I went shopping at a Pick 'N Save and came upon this...
The brewing company is using the city flag for one of their beers. Thought it was a cool find.

On-field success doesn't apply to New York and Boston; their fans both hate each other regardless.

While I don't like it's placement on the jersey, I do like the NFL 100 logo on its own. I don't love the 3-D effect of it, but all of the NFL's anniversary logos have design styles and elements that are from the time they were made (50th in the 1960's simplicity, 75th in the 1990's purple and teal). That's the route these logos have been going and I think this one is the best yet.
FWIW, the flat version of NFL 100 logo is superior IMO. I think it would be easier to use in all applications.

If they're gonna move the Rays to Montreal then I request the (Ex)Rays and Nationals to swap leagues to have DC back in the AL and Montreal back in the NL. Order will then be restored.
While it would be neat to see the O's and Nats in the same division, I don't want both teams in the Baltimore/Washington area being New York or Boston's bitch for most of the time.
Also, I do like the idea of teams in the same city being in separate leagues (New York, Chicago, Los Angeles). It would be sweet if they where both in the World Series against each other like in 2000.

The Mariner itself is a little hard to distinguish; He blends in too much. They could've made the hat entirely red to help locate him.

Unless there is a legit explanation, that looks pretty petty on the Eagles' behalf.

I don't hate the idea of the gradient, but I can't not think of the tops being 'grass-stained'.

Gray Face mask.
fight me!
"Hey! Look at us! We had a blue facemask that looked fine, but now we've made it grey again because that's what we wore in the 1950's. We're so vintage! And old! Look at us!"

So, why did they add aqua? Is that a school color I didn't know about or is it just random?

I sure can't wait for another adjective-noun name, with a logo that consists of an anthropomorphic object, grinding it's teeth with it's circular eyes close together.

I wasn't around when Pittsburgh used brighter colors so this feels a little weird to me. Still, this was the right move. The number font looks tremendously better than before, and that secondary logo is solid.
I still wish they would tweak the primary logo a bit; I don't like how unbalanced it feels... Is it suppose to look like someone wrote it with a paintbrush? Plus, the i not having a dot bothers me.

Not bad. Unique colors. I was expecting a brandiose tobacco leaf with eyes. This sort of regular blandness is unheard of.
But it's also refreshing.

You have a lot of potential here, but if it's Brandoise... they will probably ruin it for everyone.

I wouldn't call this change "trying to match the Grizzlies parent club". if anything this is a new design, trying to separate itself from the former Giants esque scheme (a former affiliate) that had some dashes of Astros in there.
I was talking in general (though I read from the main page that the red was a nod to the Nationals... which sounds like a reach IMO).

This is their fifth identity they have taken (not counting the Tacos or what ifs) since the team began in 1998. Seems a bit much.
These minor league clubs need to stop trying to match their parent clubs (whether in colors or uniforms). When they keep changing affiliates, they keep changing their identity.

Have you ever noticed that almost all of Brandoise's logos have a bit of a cookie-cutter design to them? Look specifically at the eyes and mouths of some of their logos (Jumbo Shrimp and Baby Cakes, BlueClaws and Shuckers), and tell me if you see similarities.
When they first introduced the Chihuahuas years ago, I thought it was awesome. But then they copied the design elements to other logos they made for teams and IMO, it lost it's appeal.

I forget if Ive said this, but
Kelly Green is overrated.
Midnight and forest are both way better choices.
I'm inclined to agree. Kelly looks a bit too "limey" in some lighting.

Another dumb name.

I'm probably going to get killed for this, but...
I like the Phillies' number font.
The 6 and 9 look horrible though. You can hardly tell what number is what from a distance as they both look like 8.

The name is dumb, but that's just Brandiose's thing. I completely expect it every time I hear they are responsible for the designing process of a new identity.
I don't hate the logos, but there's too many and some are a little too detailed, which was already brought up. But at least they say Montana... Right?
What? You don't like the anthropomorphic animal with the grinning teeth and menacing stare all the time?
