  1. That W that was shown transitioning might be their new logo, but I can't make anything of it. I do remember them saying the name will be something that ties into D.C.. Given the three stars on the back, I'm guessing it will be something American/Militaristic/Patriotic, though that leaves me to believe it will be one of those names from their "list". I hope they aren't the Commanders, Defenders, or Armada.
  2. Pittsburgh is gonna continue the streak of not finishing last in their division, all because of the Browns' incompetence and Baker Mayfield.
  3. The flexing for KC-DEN doesn't make much sense. The Broncos are already out of the playoff picture, so are they really hosting a primetime game just for Kansas City?
  4. I don't think there will be any other team I'd be rooting hard for in the playoffs than the Bengals (maybe Buffalo, but only if they make the Super Bowl). I'm happy for the city of Cincinnati having a contender again, especially considering that the Reds are more about money than winning.
  5. After a 1-7 start, Miami is 8-7. I can't believe they're currently in a playoff spot; no way I would've thought of that at the end of Week 8. I don't think they win out, but it's nice to see them in the mix at the end of the season.
  6. I know there are many that say the AFC is a "crapshoot" and "no one is really dominant," but I love how tight it is.
  7. Mayfield might be the one thing holding the Browns back. They have a great team, just not a great QB.
  8. The only instance Minnesota used gold correctly was in their All-Star Game logo. At the time I thought there was promise for it, but the Twins have yet to execute it into their scheme properly. It leaves me in question about its place within their identity.
  9. The Suns are the Hawks of the west. They can't stick with something for more than five years without changing. I guarantee you they change again in like four years or so.
  10. I don't know if the Bucs are just allergic to SNF or the Saints know every detail about Tampa. Two straight sweeps for New Orleans... holy hell.
  11. If the Colts didn't start the season off so poorly, they would be in the mix for the number one seed in the AFC. They're better than their record.
  12. I don't understand why Meyer was sought after. Yeah, he has had a great career in college, but he's never been on the pro level and there were easily more qualified coaches out there that they could've went with. I knew this wasn't going to work out, everyone knew this wasn't going to work out.
  13. Teams aren't beating the Bengals, the Bengals are losing games themselves.
  14. I consider the term "bust" with the team's pick more than the player themselves. Sure, they can be talented and injuries do happen, but for the Pelicans case, he hasn't given them the production that a number one overall pick should and that's why I'd consider it a bust pick for New Orleans. It's still a little early to declare the guy a bust as a player because he can turn things around, whether it's for another team or (doubtfully) New Orleans.
  15. For being a number one overall pick, he hasn't yet lived up to the hype. Is it too early to call him a bust?
  16. I've been saying this since the start of last season. The Bills have no run game and that is why they won't win the Super Bowl. If your QB is constantly the leading rusher, you have a problem. NE won with practically no passing. They're the best team in the AFC and it sucks.
  17. It's a tradition; Has been for decades. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/why-the-cowboys-and-lions-always-play-on-thanksgiving-day-nfl-teams-records-on-the-holiday/ I'd love the NFL to have different hosts on Thanksgiving. The Lions are always irrelevant and the Cowboys already get too much exposure. Considering how long it's gone on, I highly doubt the league will strip them of the privilege's.
  18. It's actually nice to not have a favorite out of either conference. That being said, it's hard for me enjoy it when New England and Pittsburgh are still in it.
  19. The whole look seemed like it was made in a short amount of time. I still kinda like it, but hopefully we'll see some tweaks down the line that can improve the set, or even an additional new logo.
  20. The wrench in that Sky Carp logo looks awfully similar to the one in Inland Empire's brand.
  21. I haven't been watching the Dolphins closely since they loss to Indy several weeks ago. Happy to see they beat Baltimore because that team has always dominated Miami. We literally have had more success against New England and Pittsburgh in the last ten years, which says something.
  22. The NBA doesn't need another Donald Sterling. Get this guy out of Phoenix (and the league).
  23. I don't know how fans in the area will react if it's a permanent name change. I've lived pretty close to the Baysox for over 20 years and they've been known as that for even longer. The logos could use an update though.
  24. I would be somewhat disappointed if he did. Not only would Miami be giving up a ton, they would have a potential criminal commanding the offense and I don't know if I can fully root for a team that has that. The best case scenario would've been to have Tua actually turn out well, but from what I've heard, Flores doesn't trust him enough and was actually against drafting him. I don't know, I just want my team to have a good QB for once, but I don't think I like this way of doing it.
  25. Imagine getting practically a free SNF win at home, with your team being talked about and promoted as if they're "actually not a bad team."
