  1. Unless there is a legit explanation, that looks pretty petty on the Eagles' behalf.
  2. I don't hate the idea of the gradient, but I can't not think of the tops being 'grass-stained'.
  3. "Hey! Look at us! We had a blue facemask that looked fine, but now we've made it grey again because that's what we wore in the 1950's. We're so vintage! And old! Look at us!"
  4. So, why did they add aqua? Is that a school color I didn't know about or is it just random?
  5. I sure can't wait for another adjective-noun name, with a logo that consists of an anthropomorphic object, grinding it's teeth with it's circular eyes close together.
  6. I wasn't around when Pittsburgh used brighter colors so this feels a little weird to me. Still, this was the right move. The number font looks tremendously better than before, and that secondary logo is solid. I still wish they would tweak the primary logo a bit; I don't like how unbalanced it feels... Is it suppose to look like someone wrote it with a paintbrush? Plus, the i not having a dot bothers me.
  7. You have a lot of potential here, but if it's Brandoise... they will probably ruin it for everyone.
  8. I was talking in general (though I read from the main page that the red was a nod to the Nationals... which sounds like a reach IMO).
  9. These minor league clubs need to stop trying to match their parent clubs (whether in colors or uniforms). When they keep changing affiliates, they keep changing their identity.
  10. Have you ever noticed that almost all of Brandoise's logos have a bit of a cookie-cutter design to them? Look specifically at the eyes and mouths of some of their logos (Jumbo Shrimp and Baby Cakes, BlueClaws and Shuckers), and tell me if you see similarities. When they first introduced the Chihuahuas years ago, I thought it was awesome. But then they copied the design elements to other logos they made for teams and IMO, it lost it's appeal.
  11. I'm inclined to agree. Kelly looks a bit too "limey" in some lighting.
  12. The 6 and 9 look horrible though. You can hardly tell what number is what from a distance as they both look like 8.
  13. Considering the connections to the American flag, I could see them pulling something off... something patriotic? Oh, but that would mean another generic red, white and blue color scheme!
  14. Light blue, yellow, and red seems like a fun color scheme to use, though I think Hartford got it right.
  15. Honestly, I thought some of them had pretty cool color schemes (Memphis Maniax, Orlando Rage).
  16. I don't want both the Jets and the Eagles, two of the only three green teams in the league, using black; one of them have to be green-only (I prefer the Jets, though the Eagles' midnight green and black aren't exactly an appealing combination). What I think they need is a different number font. Obviously not too crazy, but distinguishable enough... oh, and Kelly green FTW. Those Marshall uniforms by the way, would be damn near-perfect if it weren't for those unnecessary shoulder caps.
  17. Woodpeckers probably wouldn't be too bad, though there are already dozens of bird teams out there. Fatbacks? So, would the logo consist of anthropomorphic back tissue of a pig? I'm intrigued, but also disgusted.
  18. I'd need to see how it's used for other teams before I make a statement, but I'm glad they're still using the logos. On a side note, why is there an aqua line above the Eagles' bar? I assume that's where the team's secondary color appears (with the Patriots in red), why not use black or silver?
  19. Just an edited version of the Reds identity... though, much expected from a rookie league team.
  20. Most O's fans (at least in the Baltimore area) absolutely LOVE the cartoon bird, so it's not likely to be pitched anytime soon. The realistic bird is okay I guess, but I really like the "O's" logo more.
