  1. Agreed. I LOVED that logo and always wished they would find some way to incorporate those "fiesta" colors into their uniforms.
  2. That's pretty much the only thing I remember his NBA career for...
  3. Wow, that's amazing. Wonder if he had to tell anybody from that horrific team that there was "no crying in baseball"?
  4. Oh, right! I forgot that Shaq even played for the Heat for some reason. It seems so long ago.
  5. Agreed, on most counts. Some of these younger guys may make a bigger mark in their new homes than they did in their old, but Wade is not one of them. He's injury-prone and just generally feels like he's slowing down. I don't think he'll be quite like Willie Mays on the Mets, though - he'll be better than that, but he's still on the downside of his career.
  6. So how much is your suit worth now?
  7. Everything the homosexuals do is so dramatic and flamboyant, it makes me want to set myself on fire! Or perhaps it would be better if I said, "FinsUp1214, you blowhard!"
  8. It actually isn't that far off what they ultimately went with...just a lot more interesting.
  9. I'm not even a fan of red and black, and I loved that whole set from 1997-2002. The red numbers made the roads pop and the home blacks were just so...cool, just like the logo. That logo was aloof in a Pink Panther (cartoon) sort of way.
  10. I agree it looks better than their brown jerseys, but therein lies a problem: They are the Cleveland Browns, not the Cleveland Oranges.
  11. You're trying to seduce me, Mr. Chauncey!
  12. I agree with you wholeheartedly about soccer "kits". What a silly name. I'm not a fan of how most soccer teams wear different "colours" at home and on the road...as in, totally different color schemes. At least the Columbus Crew don't do that. I enjoy hockey sometimes but don't care for most uniforms, really. Too dark, although at least they've been lightening up lately. I'm also not a fan of the design in general, with the bulky shirts and the piping in weird places and the plain-colored pants. Guess I'm just too American, I dunno.
  13. I dunno, but I think that looks more intimidating than even the most badass artwork.
  14. Not sure how often it should be used, but I agree that the sleeve number works well for the Phils.
  15. Making it worse is the fact that he's wearing the ancestor of today's "blood clot" uniforms in the top photo.
  16. Right. I remember when he and Iverson were teammates that Philly had two AIs. That's where I first heard of him.
  17. I would disagree - I still think of him as a 76er as much as anything - but just wanted to say that's a pretty good jersey. A little too shiny, perhaps, but the Sixers should have used more color in that set. I know they didn't have a red alt in that style but I'd like to see one.
  18. Not bad except for the last one. I like the idea of bringing back baby blue roads for at least one MLB team. I don't remember their shade of blue looking that great though - probably because they hardly featured it at all. I semi-liked their 2004 set when it first came out because of the grey hat with the home uniforms, although it still bothered me that a team called "Blue Jays" had so little blue (not a single hat or jersey). Naturally, the grey caps didn't last long. I have a certain fondness for white and grey caps in baseball - wish someone would resurrect them.
  19. The Jazz' recent "upgrade" bummed me out. I was hoping they'd bring back purple.
  20. I probably wouldn't believe this if I hadn't just seen it.
  21. These two men are enjoying their first slow dance as a couple. How precious! ❤
