  1. I completely agree - I'm probably getting annoying at this point, but I really think the Twins went from one of the worst to one of the best sets in baseball: The use of the single-color text, although I was very hesitant when that element leaked, really works magic and feels very Dodgers-esque. To me it's on the same level as the Padres, Blue Jays, and Brewers as far as reviving and modernizing the most classic and essential elements of an identity. I'd honestly put them as my favorite uniform set in the American League and probably Top-5 in all of baseball.

Sure, so: Atlanta Eagles: This one was custom made, based off of the Guardians' script, so unfortunately no font here. Houston Buffaloes: This one is called Kerney Script, it's roughly analogous to old Orioles and Twins scripts. Kansas City Cowboys: This one is a font called Buinton, which I added some "spikes" to in order to have that Western feel. Las Vegas Flamingos: This one was also unfortunately custom, taken from the letters of the Marlins' scripts. Los Angeles Angels (Twins) & Washington Senators (Twins): These scripts both combine this World Series font (thanks @coco1997) with letters from the Twins' new scripts. For the away wordmarks, I gathered as many letters as I could from the Twins' social media posts in order to create the letters I needed for the wordmarks, so unfortunately no font there. Los Angeles Angels (Browns) & Los Angeles Browns: These both combine a font called Catchland (essentially the Dodgers' font) with letters from the old St. Louis Browns scripts. Washington Senators (Rangers): No fonts were used for this one, I just borrowed @SFGiants58's recreation of the Senators script and used the Nationals' initial away wordmark sans the bevel. Baltimore Orioles (Cardinals): This is another one that didn't use a font, as I just gathered what letters I could from the Cardinals' scripts and the ones @SFGiants58 created in his series. I hope that helps!
  3. Yeah, that makes sense. I wonder if the Bengals could've done that from the beginning, like Carolina did.

Yeah, as a Twins fan myself, it wasn't quite as fun making some of those designs. I think they're pretty safe in Minnesota for at least a while. Thanks, I figured that'd be one of yours. Thank you, I appreciate it! It wouldn't have been possible without the use of your template! As for the script fonts, it would depend on which ones you're referring to, as some of them were handcrafted by me based off of actual MLB scripts, although others were actual fonts. Let me know which ones you're curious about, and I'll be glad to tell you if I used a font for them!

And that'll (offically) do it! Thanks again to anyone who followed along, I truly hope you enjoyed it! As I mentioned before, I would love to see peoples' Top 10 or Top 5, or just any personal favorites you had throughout the series.

Here's the second batch of compliations, this time grouped by the teams that nearly relocated: Astros Athletics Braves Browns Cardinals Dodgers Expos Giants Guardians Marlins Orioles Pirates Rays Reds Senators Twins White Sox Yankees

Thank you very much! It's interesting to see that there's quite a bit of overlap in people's favorites so far, including my own. Unfortunately, no... I've just about spent myself when it comes to ideas for this series.
  8. I thought the Bengals white tiger uniform looked so much better with the regular away uniform than the old Color Rush. It really makes me wonder if this is what was intended all along, & the NFL for some reason didn’t allow it. Or, the other possibility is that they just wanted to try it with the old Color Rush, and either simply didn’t like it or responded to fan feedback. I do agree that it’d be best to be reserved to once a year at home, though. It’s especially unfortunate to be doing it against Jacksonville, since teal & orange are pretty complimentary colors.

As promised, here are some compilations of the different teams from the series, today they'll be grouped by the city they ended up in. Atlanta Baltimore Buffalo Dallas Denver Houston Kansas City Las Vegas Los Angeles Milwaukee Minneapolis Montreal Nashville New Jersey New Orleans New York Norfolk Oakland San Diego Seattle Tampa Bay Washington

And... I believe that should do it! What started as 60+ teams ballooned to nearly double that, I appreciate everyone's kind words and support! I'll post some "compilations," grouped by city & team, tomorrow & the day after, & then after that I'll be taking a much-needed break.

What if... the White Sox relocated to New Orleans (and changed their name)? This is the same premise as my original White Sox → NOLA design, but if they changed their name to the "Pelicans." Once again, Mardi Gras colors felt like the way to go with this one.

    Ah gotcha, here you go:
  14. Watching Pitt - UNC last night really reinforces how much better the Rams’ uniforms could be. Just imagine a royal blue helmet with the classic horn:
  15. If the Dolphins play the Jaguars in Jacksonville, and the Jags decided to wear their teal tops and/or pants, then I’d argue white pants would be the better way to go for the Dolphins. Better contrast. Similarly, if the Chargers go into Pittsburgh or Green Bay, who almost always wear gold pants, then I’d say the all-white would be better for LA. Don’t get me wrong, I prefer the aqua pants for the Dolphins & the gold pants for the Chargers, but there are some instances where an alternate combination is preferable.

Sure: As much as the Dodgers in Oakland doesn't feel right, this feels even less right:
  18. For this particular matchup, I like the green contrasted against Ohio State's red. Along with the metallics, it gives me heavy Christmas vibes. If only the game was played in December.
  19. Ohio State vs. Notre Dame would be a perfect matchup if Notre Dame went with gold pants. Green & gold vs. red & silver.

What if... the Dodgers relocated to Oakland? Although the Dodgers never seemed to have much interest, the City of Oakland Baseball Committee sent a letter to Walter O. Malley encouraging him to consider moving to the city. Green actually has precedence in Dodgers history.

I already did this one. These are both before the 1900's, I honestly don't feel the need to go that far back. Plus, I don't imagine there's many universes where those cities nor their team names last into the modern day. I don't think changing the name to "Pelicans" would add much to either of these identities.

I'd rather avoid it, because like I said it still feels like it references Native American imagery more-so than it does eagles. Hey now, that hits a little too close to home. Maybe something like this?
  23. I'm a little late, but I'm a bit surprised to see the distaste towards the Browns' throwback/alt. I honestly thought it looked pretty nice. The mismatched stripes are a bit quirky, but that hasn't stopped people from liking other traditional sets. Plus, it's historically accurate, and there's no way they were gonna change the helmet stripes too much. I know people are going to hate me for this, but the only thing that would've made it better in my mind is if Pittsburgh went with their black-out Color Rush. More adventurous alternate uniforms like that can work well for divisional opponents, so it's not just the same matchup every year.

What if... Cleveland's baseball team relocated to Minneapolis (and changed their name)? Per @coco1997: In 1957, GM Hank Greenberg was fired when it came to light that he started a secret campaign to move the team to Minnesota. I figured they'd maybe snatch "Vikings" before the NFL team.

I suppose it could work, but honestly the single feather motif still brings to mind Native American imagery to me, not an eagle, so I think it'd be best to avoid it personally.
