  1. I don’t think there’s any resolution to this that isn’t going to piss a bunch of people off. Whether they should be pissed off or not, it’s going to happen that someone is going to lose out. I’d just take the bye week away from the Conference Championship Games and Super Bowl and play the Bills/Bengals game when the Wild Card weekend would normally be. Seems like the solution with the fewest problematic elements.

Kansas City vs. Las Vegas Tennessee vs. Jacksonville Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh Minnesota vs. Chicago NY Jets vs. Miami Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta Carolina vs. New Orleans Houston vs. Indianapolis Arizona vs. San Francisco Dallas vs. Washington LA Rams vs. Seattle NY Giants vs. Philadelphia LA Chargers vs. Denver Detroit vs. Green Bay Baltimore vs. Cincinnati New England vs. Buffalo
  3. If he comes through and I hope he does, he is going to have some interesting things to say about if he felt anything while he was out.
  4. Directly call it dirty? No. Contextually when he’s talking about how “hits like that have been taken out of the game but they aren’t enforced like they should be”? I’m leaning towards yes. Now, he certainly gave himself enough room to say “No, I actually meant this!” but in my opinion, he was implying that it was a dirty hit.
  5. Bart Scott having a terrible take isn’t exactly something I’m unfamiliar with. But holy crap he really went over the line this time. If you’re going to call a hit dirty, you better have irrefutable evidence, especially in a situation where a dirty hit could become involuntary manslaughter.
  6. Tee Higgins made a clean hit, how the hell was he supposed to know it would temporarily kill a guy? Everything about this situation sucks. No need to douse this inferno with more gasoline.
  7. It's analytics run amok. You know, except for one thing: I remember a hell of a lot more Hail Marys succeeding than Cal-Stanford/Miami Miracle/Music City Miracle type plays succeeding. In fact, those are the only three times I know of that something like that works and the team involved won.
  8. They were close the game he coached too. Still, the Broncos are going to be a popular pick for having a bounceback year next season. Make it 15 now. For the next 48 hours, go Bengals.
  9. Broncos are back in the game. These games have always been closer than they should be but this is ridiculous. @DG_ThenNowForever is not wrong at all about the Chiefs playing Steelerball when it comes to bad teams.
  10. Chiefs botch another PAT. Between these, the muffed punts and other assorted mistakes, they’ve really emphasized the special in special teams this year. EDIT: And now Kadarius Toney fumbles a punt. :censored:ing fantastic
  11. Fair. Should’ve said Super Bowl era QBs but my overall point that a QB who throws more picks than TDs now would be far more likely to end up in the unemployment line than the Hall of Fame still stands.
  12. Yeah, for a college of Alabama’s stature, it’s weird how many more of their quarterbacks are more like Brodie Croyle than a Joe Namath or Ken Stabler. Coincidentally, Namath and Stabler are the only two QBs in Canton who had more career INTs than TDs. Sure was a different era.
  13. Looking forward to seeing Zach Wilson on some cougar version of The Bachelorette
  14. That’s what I get for being a gambler, I guess Dallas vs. Tennessee Arizona vs. Atlanta Miami vs. New England New Orleans vs. Philadelphia Indianapolis vs. NY Giants Carolina vs. Tampa Bay Denver vs. Kansas City Chicago vs. Detroit Cleveland vs. Washington Jacksonville vs. Houston San Francisco vs. Las Vegas NY Jets vs. Seattle Minnesota vs. Green Bay LA Rams vs. LA Chargers Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore Buffalo vs. Cincinnati
  15. Maybe, but, at the end of the day Tua has to make the decision that’s best for him and whoever else he holds dear. And as much as retreating from the game may be the wise decision, where else is he going to get paid millions of dollars?
  16. They didn't let him do anymore damage in the name of Seattle's higher draft pick. That's the funniest part about all of this. No matter what, this whole season was meaningless for Denver.
  17. I’m a year older than Ronnie Hillman and I can’t imagine the thought that it could be all over right now. Not to mention any surviving family members are probably not able to imagine that it all ended so soon either. There but for the Grace of God go I. RIP
  18. Jacksonville vs NY Jets Buffalo vs Chicago New Orleans vs Cleveland Houston vs Tennessee Seattle vs Kansas City NY Giants vs Minnesota Cincinnati vs New England Detroit vs Carolina Atlanta vs Baltimore Washington vs San Francisco Philadelphia vs Dallas Las Vegas vs Pittsburgh Green Bay vs Miami Denver vs LA Rams Tampa Bay vs Arizona LA Chargers vs Indianapolis
  19. Huh. I was wondering where he was getting the money to make all those bets. Should’ve started a crypto exchange if he wanted to rob people. EDIT: Turns out this guy is a career criminal.
  20. That team and how they’d die for Dan Campbell is really revealing just how much of football is élan versus EPA.
  21. Chiefs win the AFC West. And all it took was a Herculean effort to beat the powerhouse Houston Texans. Yay.
  22. This year was supposed to be a rebuilding/reloading year, but yes, the Chiefs aren’t supposed to be on a game-winning drive in the 4th quarter against the Texans. EDIT: Butker, what the hell are you doing? Going to overtime, against the Texans?
  23.
