  1. Thank you for pointing this out! It drives me nuts that the white helmet horns were absolutely pointless and no one would have cared if they had just stuck with the gold horns for a couple of years. I also just realized that it's been a full 20 years since we last saw the Rams wear the greatest road uniform they've ever had and should have never changed. They were iconic. I look forward to the Rams (hopefully) bringing these back in five years when they're forced to admit their mistake like the Bucs and Browns did.
  2. A month or so ago I absolutely hated the new Falcons unis. But after seeing what the Rams revealed today, I will gladly stare at that Falcons jersey for a solid hour just to get the "bone" atrocity out of my brain. Sounds kinda painful.
  3. YES to both of these. If the Seahawks made that their primary unis, they would instantly be Top 5 in the NFL, IMO. I love the blend of those colors with the original logo.
  4. I liked Fromm from what I saw from him at Georgia. The Bills taking him despite already having a young unquestioned starter reminds of me of when they drafted Trent Edwards in '07. Unlike Edwards, Fromm could develop into a nice long-term backup, so long as the Bills don't prematurely throw him to the wolves like they did with Nathan Peterman.
  5. Does back-to-back AFL titles in the 1960s count as a dynasty? How about four straight Super Bowl participant trophies?
  6. It's nice to see that Kris Humphries is still finding work these days.
  7. Looks to me like the red facemask is staying, thank goodness. Or it's just weird lighting. As for the new uniforms, I hope they do switch to red as the primary so that it would force the Bills to ditch their color rush abominations.
  8. Yeah, count me as one of the people who hate their current color rush look. I think they need to ditch navy altogether and either return to something that resembles this... Or, for God's sake, just go back to this as the primary look...
  9. I'd like to officially welcome the Browns back to the NFL after going on a five-year hiatus! They look gorgeous! Well done. With the Buccaneers returning after as six-year hiatus, this is turning out to be a great offseason so far. Though it is disappointing that the Falcons are departing for the Arena league, but it is what it is.
  10. It's going to be so refreshing to watch a Bucs game next year on TV and actually be able to say to myself "Hey, they look like the Bucs again!" instead of "Who let that XFL team onto the field?" Great job Bucs!
  11. Awful. Just awful. All they had to do was make a few small tweaks to this... ... and they'd be a hit. It's really not that hard, Falcons. Also, glossy helmets > matte helmets all day.
  12. Here's all the glorious uniforms that we could potentially see return if the NFL allows throwback helmets next year... How hard is it to make an exception just for these teams? And even if a hypothetical rule change were to open the door for alternate helmets for all 32 teams in the future, then so be it. The 49ers could wear solid black from head to toe twice a year for all I care. I'm willing to make that sacrifice if it means seeing the return of the Bucs in creamsicle, Patriot Pat, red Falcons helmets, etc..
  13. I would be happy if they signed him to a one-year deal. The Titans brought in Ryan Tannehill on a one-year deal last year and look how well that turned out for them. The same with the Saints and Teddy Bridgewater. There's no guarantee that Allen won't take a huge step backwards (ala Trubisky or Mariota) in his development or get hurt for an extended period of time, especially with the way he runs. And I don't know about you, but I have very little faith in Matt Barkley as a solution. McDermott would know better than most whether it would be a good fit. Assuming that Cam is mature enough to handle a backup role, I'd be willing to roll the dice on him for a year. The Bills could actually be a contender in the AFC for the first time in 25 years and I don't want to see that opportunity wasted if Allen gets hurt. I just pray that Belichick doesn't get to him first. And I would take Cam over Jameis "30 picks" Winston in a heartbeat. If you think Winston (with all his recent controversies and off-field legal troubles) would be less of a distraction than Cam, I'm not sure if I agree with that. Dalton would be a great option.
  14. Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane love bringing in former Panthers players and coaches to Buffalo. It's very unlikely to happen, but I wonder if they'd consider signing Cam Newton as a backup.
  15. I'm sorry but the red facemask is still my favorite, with navy blue being a close second.
  16. Is it just me or do the shoulder stripes look slimmer?
  17. This is a joke, right? A guy who caught 7 TDs in one postseason, including three against your team in a NFCCG, never played in a game that actually mattered? As for Brady finally leaving the Patriots, all I can say is that on behalf of all my fellow AFC East fans who have been tormented for the last 19 years, it's time to say.... GOODBYE TOBY BRADY!!!
  18. The Bills now have two 1,000 receiving threats in John Brown and Stephon Diggs. Now we're truly going to find out if Josh Allen is the real deal or not. He made big strides from Year 1 to Year 2, but now he's got to become a consistently accurate passer and a better decision-maker. If Diggs didn't like playing with Kirk Cousins, a guy who targeted him 243 times over the last two seasons, then he's not going to like playing with Allen if he doesn't get the ball enough.
  19. Just a little bit of gold makes those unis look amazing! That doesn't look half bad.
  20. We just don't know how long it's going to take for this virus to be contained. I honestly don't see how the NBA is going to be able to finish the season, barring a miracle that lets them resume in the next two months. If (And it's a big "if") they can get back up and running by late May, they could start the playoffs and have the Finals finish by late July, which means there's no way the current Team USA roster is going to be playing in Tokyo. But that's an extremely optimistic outlook considering where we're at right now. I really hope I'm wrong about this, but I believe the 2019-2020 NBA season is finished.
  21. Watching sporting events from around the country, especially the men/women's NCAA tournaments, with no fans in attendance is going to be one of the weirdest things we've ever experienced. But public safety is the most important thing right now, so I'm glad this is being done. I'm also grateful that we'll still get to see these games played on TV. We could certainly use a distraction even if it's only for a few hours a day.
  22. Who wants to bet that this new Rams logo will last about as long as this infamous one did...
