  1. Maybe the next home game, there will be a "Thank You Bezos" chant
  2. There was apparently an "F Dan Snyder" chant at the STL-DC game yesterday.
  3. the new Cardinals DC (former Eagles LB Coach) is the brother of WWE's Madcap Moss.
  4. The appeal of Audi Field, since it's a new stadium that won't be leaking toilet water or have unstable fan railings. Also, owners (The Rock, Dany Garcia and Gerry Cardinale) who don't have a thousand federal investigations looming. The lower price point does also help.
  5. I would guess loyalty for the University of Oklahoma.
  6. Albuquerque is one of those cities that has been tabbed by a lot of people as having its soccer team (New Mexico United) going to MLS if they can get a brand new stadium (playing at the Isotopes Stadium right now) and a huge financial backer to join the ownership group. They may not go to MLS as team 30-32, but could if the MLS goes to 40. The New Mexico United going to MLS would be a hot ticket in town, because the people of ABQ will now say "we are a major league city now." As a fan of cities getting their first Major League team, I am all on board Louisville and ABQ getting their first via MLS. I did not like how Austin got their first with Austin FC (but I did like that Austin got their first major league team) and liked when Vegas got the Golden Knights but that ended when they got the Raiders (I was fine with them getting the Aces). I think Louisville's best shot as a major league city is having Lou City FC going to MLS. Lynn Family Stadium is expandable to 15,000, so they have the stadium. All they need is someone with a lot of money to join the ownership group and they likely move in the front of the line for MLS expansion.
  7. Gonzaga in the same conference as Houston, Baylor, Kansas State, TCU and Kansas......that would be a stacked conference in basketball.
  8. Louisville could be a major league market if the MLS expands to 40 teams. It shouldn't be just NFL markets or former/near NFL markets. If they want to one up the USFL, go after markets with major league teams but no NFL teams. They already have that with Orlando, St. Louis and San Antonio. Louisville could fit if they ever join MLS (and they should, I'd prefer them over Las Vegas).
  9. Rochester = No. Columbus= Yes Norfolk/Virginia Beach = Yes Louisville = Yes Colorado Springs = No San Jose = Yes New York (inside the city limits, somewhere in the Five Boroughs)= Maybe. Does the XFL want to put a football team at Yankee Stadium? If not, the only option might be Columbia University, which has a 25,000 seat stadium.
  10. Both Levis and Anthony Richardson need to do like Mahomes and sit for most of their rookie year. That's not going to happen with Indy, Las Vegas or Carolina, but I know of two teams where that scenario can happen and both teams play in the NFC North: Detroit and Minnesota. Yes, in Detroit, Jared Goff had one of his better seasons of his career but is it a one time thing and he regresses like he did in his last few years with the Rams? Or is it going to be to where he gets a major extension? The Vikings have Kirk Cousins. Cousins has only missed two games in his time in Minnesota, but like Goff, he has an expiring contract at the end of 2023. Plus, those two teams have terrible backups in Nate Sudfeld and Nick Mullens. We know what Kirk Cousins is. Both teams take Levis and Richardson gives both rookies time to develop properly. Having said that, I think realistically, both the Lions and Vikings will probably draft a QB in the later rounds for whom they can develop and a message to Goff and Cousins not to feel threatened by the rookie. So names like Aiden O'Connell, Jake Haener, Max Duggan and Stetson Bennett are probably much more realistic then Levis or Richardson for the Lions and Vikings. Or they can bring back Sudfeld (Lions) and Mullens (Vikings). The Seahawks are another team that the Patrick Mahomes "lets sit him for most of his rookie season" scenario can work for Levis and Richardson, provided that Geno Smith re-signs and how long he signs for. However, I too think realistically, Seattle will draft a developmental guy in the later rounds, especially if Geno signs for longer than three years. They can also bring back Drew Lock.
  11. I don't know about Houston or San Antonio, but as I mentioned earlier, Dallas/Fort Worth is a successful market for the NHL, so I would suspect that a majority of these Texas kids playing hockey are from DFW.
  12. He's no longer listed on the XFL roster and his stats from week one were erased on the XFL site.
  13. Living in Dallas, this is 100% true. Not many people thought it would work when they moved in 1993. But youth hockey has increased rapidly since then and the Stars have opened 8 StarCenters for youth hockey and high school hockey (also gives the DFW area 8 venues for ice skating). It has also led to the Allen Americans of the ECHL.
  14. The seats at Shell Energy Stadium before the Dynamo season opener
