  1. Changing GM and Head Coach is a smart move the Vikings made this offseason. Things were getting stale up there anyways and Mike Zimmer was starting to wear thin on people.
  2. Tampa has been running the ball. Will Green Bay do the same?
  3. Clayton Kershaw looks to return to LA for 2023.

  5. Apparently so. Sadly, he's not from Pawnee, Indiana and it's unknown if he likes tossed salads and scrambled eggs.
  6. The Colts are trying to get the #1 pick, so making the move to Gus Bradley would have actually been on par with that plan.
  7. If Steichen leaves, it won't affect Jalen Hurts at all since the head coach is Nick Sirianni, an offensive guy, so Hurts will essentially be in the same offensive system as long as Sirianni is still there. If I am a team with a young QB and you need a head coach, an offensive coach is preferable, because then if the OC under that offensive head coach becomes a head coach himself, there's still continuity in that offense and helps that young QB grow. There's also Sean Payton out there, who is basically taking a year off. I get the feeling that he would only come back if there's already an established QB. Like if the Chargers choke again and Brandon Staley doesn't make it to a third season, Peyton might be tempted to stay in LA to coach Justin Herbert. Or he goes to Arizona to try to unleash Kyler Murray's potential. I don't think he goes anywhere that has no QB already in place but I could be wrong. Steichen is basically "Plan B" in case Sean Payton doesn't work out.
  8. I was talking about modernizing and updating the logo and uniform Reggie White wore 40 years ago as the USFL has done with the others
  9. “The rule does not apply to an interim head coach during the season,” Chief NFL Spokesman Brian McCarthy told PFT via email. “It does apply after the conclusion of the team’s season. The club would have to fulfill the rule before hiring a full-time coach.” NFL: Rooney Rule doesn't apply to interim coaching hires - ProFootballTalk (nbcsports.com)
  10. That's why I thought it was a speedboat at first since it was so tiny. I would expect though that it would be a modern upgrade of the old logo.
  11. As a logo on the shoulder of the uniform or on the collar: As primary logo on helmet:
  12. So when the NFL head coaches had their summit earlier this year, did they all agree to remove the Hail Mary from the offensive playbook and instead agree to implement laterals a million times at the end of the game? There's been a lack of Hail Mary plays this season.
  13. Malik Willis is living up to his 3rd round draft status.
  14. In 2023, USL will announce more expansion teams for USL Championship, USL League One and USL League Two.
  15. Seattle is 6-3 after winning 4 in a row. Barring an epic collapse, Seattle will win more that 7 games, exceeding everyone's expectations if they haven't already. BTW, 7 is the fewest number of wins Pete Carroll's had with the Seahawks. He's won no fewer than 7. Rich Eisen will no doubt gloat about another Seattle win on his show tomorrow since he's the only one in the national media who said before the season that Seattle isn't going to have as bad of a season as everyone thought because of Coach Carroll.
