  1. Mid 2010s arrived and the team was once again put up for sale, the new owner of the team brings back a classic in his vision of the Stallions.
  2. A decade of monochrome later.... around say the mid 2000s, sees the Stallions break said pattern. The NFC's version of the Kansas City Chiefs still going strong... despite the uniforms being sort of dated.
  3. Mid 90's turned up and like most USFL teams, new ownership took reign of the Stallions and reckoned it was time to distance themselves from the Niners.... Unfortuately this was when the Monochromes began to take over. However there was a vacancy for a red team in the NFC.
  4. What do you reckon I should do with the Stallions? I am likely to progress to their current USFL look but considering these are one of the top 5 looks of the old USFL... I am conflicted.
  5. Following the league wide panning of the Stars look.... the Stallions decided to quietly update their gold and tidy up their look so it looks fancy.
  6. It took them a long time to get their national championship even beat those damn bison to do it... but yeah good look for the new champs.
  7. It's time I reckon, time we moved onto the next USFL team in the NFL... and i'm skipping the Bulls for now, instead let's focus on the infamous Niners of the East. BIRMINGHAM STALLIONS The Niners of the East aka the Stallions entered the new merged league with one of the biggest complaints from their future rivals... the team that they got compared too, the 49ers. "Why do they look like us?" Well considering the Stallions are in Birmingham, Alabama in a prime position in the Southern US where they were one of the great six expansions the NFL was looking for.... they were the important lynchpin that was to become the NFC South. Eventually they would be the team that would invent the Monochromic look.
  8. As mentioned before.... Colorado State Rams have now got a new design. Here it is. Based upon their secondary design, the look fully evolves into that... with green/gold home and gold/green road.
  9. Before we move on ahead with the next batch of West division designs.... I'm going to be redesigning Colorado State's design as looking at other concepts and then looking back at what I did... the design isn't Arena football enough so I'm working on that right now.
  10. Hmmmm what to pick, what to pick.
  11. A Teal that is just as good as the classic Jaguars of yesteryear? Yes please.
  12. The striping's nice, wish I went with it instead of essentially going with what I did which was a tribute to the Cardinals 2000 look.
  13. Anyway let's move onto the West Coast Conference and to an important school that I learnt whose action one year became one of the building blocks to the civil rights movement. Here come the... SAN FRANCISCO DONS Home Road Historical Alt Approaching this uniform set originally I went with the 49ers look because of how that look would translate to today's standard if the Dons still existed.... for the more important historical alts, I went with the current 49ers handles their alternates and applied it here.
  14. Fun fact most of the Californian schools i've done for Arena and the three what ifs for the first NCAA thread had me thinking what would they look like fully.
  15. Yes but this is an expanded set.... a what if they had the full lot.... the previous ones were just one set home and one set road, this is home, road and alt.
  16. When you learn about defunct football, you learn about a literal state full of teams that used to thrive in college football.... well until 1991 at earliest but lately there's a LOT of schools in California that can't afford or stop caring about the gridiron in general and that saddens me because you have history and then it is being wiped out by two things.... politics and funding from said politics.... the less mentioned about those two :censored: schools joining the Big 10 the better. Anyway there's a lot to cover here and this will be seldom updated from time to time, so don't expect a massive flurry as you see from the other threads.... this is mostly for me to see what would happen if these teams now suddenly got funding and got entry into NCAA again... this will apply to all levels. To start off with, we are going with a school that joined the Big West Conference in 2020 but that conference does not play football or sponsor said sport.... so I figured I would make a full set for this school and see what happens. UC SAN DIEGO TRITONS Home Road Alt The premise behind this set was to emulate the San Diego Chargers of the 80's in terms of looks and colors.... there were two other colors that I could of used but they wouldn't work with the set up I had in mind here..... Navy helmets on all, navy/gold is primary for home with white and gold pant alts, road is white/navy with gold and white pant alts and alt is gold/navy with white and gold pant alts... gold helmets might be a thing but definetly not white helmets...
  17. Because of the recent differences I've just learnt from the Club Football thread, there is that one change here. San Diego Tritons v2.
  18. Hi it's me again... you know the drill. Western Kentucky v2.
  19. And I wasn't a big admirer of Louisville so here's a reduced v2.
  20. Had a look back at the thread and realised some things weren't right... so i made a change to Pomona so here's v2.
