  1. Sorry for the long delay! I hit a roadblock in terms of inspiration but finally scraped together a solid concept. Introducing the Ottawa Grey Jays. Named for the national bird of Canada, the small and subtle -yet fierce- Grey Jay. I'm not completely happy with the logo, but I tried my best to make this unfearsome bird a bit more threatening, whist still retaining its subtle nature. Uniform stripes are supposed to evoke flight and movement, without going to over-the-top. Alternate is a throwback to the original version of the team, the Montréal Mustangs. Made in Affinity Designer, C&C appreciated.
  2. That LA monogram is one of the best I've seen.
  3. St. Louis BattleHawks, Tampa Bay Vipers, New York Guardians, Seattle Dragons, Los Angeles Wildcats, DC Defenders, Houston Roughnecks, Dallas Renegades confirmed.
  4. Moving on to the next team, the Indianapolis Checkers! (Thanks @texashockeyfan for the suggestion!) Refers to the checkered flags used in racing, a sport that is a staple in Indianapolis. The flame at the top of the I is taken from the Indiana flag. Uniforms use checker patterns throughout the striping. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  5. Finally back to posting following my 2 week absence. Let's get right to the next team, the New Orleans Corsairs. Inspired by the history of piracy in the Gulf of Mexico, and the historical Pirates Alley located in the city. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  6. I'm going to be busy for the next two weeks, so don't expect any updates here. I do plan to continue this series until its completion. See you then!
  7. A corsair is a fancier term for a pirate. Honoring the history of piracy in the Gulf of Mexico and the Pirate Museum in New Orleans.
  8. Sorry for the delay. I'm a bit stuck on new concepts for now, but I've been working on an updated uniform template (same template, re-traced, added helmets) and some changes for existing teams. Here are some updates to the Boston Mariners and Houston Voyagers. Boston Mariners: Made some changes in the colors, small tweaks to the lighthouse, added a new custom font, and updated the secondary logos. I'm much happier with the team. Houston Voyagers: Changed the colors up a bit, (I thought the originals clashed too much) and completely redesigned the uniforms. That's all for now. Hoping to release some new teams soon! Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  9. Running out of complete concepts, so here's the the league and conference logos. Includes two chevrons pointing upward and downward, representing the north and south. Each chevron is divided into four sections, representing the four divisions in each conference. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  10. Couldn't figure out a concept that looked good. I'll get them done eventually.
  11. The way my program works, I have to trace the helmet template, which is extremely tedious. I'll get it done eventually, but for now they won't be included.
  12. Next team up is the Lumiéres du Québec, or Quebec Lights. (Northeast Division, North conference) Named for the northern lights that emblazon the sky above Quebec. Uniforms use the light pattern as a stripe on the pants and helmet. Helmet has navy shell and facemask, light pattern stripe through the middle, and flour-de-lis logo on the sides. I tried my hardest to not to make it look more like a soccer crest, but I couldn't figure out a way to make it look good as a primary logo without it being a roundel. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  13. I'm going with Corsairs. Honors the history of piracy in the Gulf of Mexico and the pirate museum in New Orleans.
  14. The name Minnesota Lumberjacks popped up a few times, so I decided to try it and I'm very pleased with the results. Introducing the Minnesota Lumberjacks. (Northwest Division, North conference.) The logo contains crossed timber axes, an M with pine trees in the negative space, and the north star adorning the logo. I'm not quite sold on the uniforms yet. Helmet would have an evergreen shell, cream facemask, cream and red stripe, and primary logo. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  15. I appreciate the feedback. I'm liking your division idea. I'll keep in touch for more suggestions. Anything for Montréal or Cleveland? I don't know where to start for them.
  16. Here's a list of teams within each conference and division, per @Mr. Sports Fanatic's request. I am taking suggestions for team names marked with X or ?. I'd like to keep most of these color schemes, if possible. I also also looking for some help with division names. All division members are locked. EDIT: Some color schemes are not up to date. (New York, Buffalo, and Quebec)
  17. Next team up is the Mexico City Stingrays. (Coastal Division, South conference.) Named for the creatures that roam the waters surrounding Mexico. I was inspired by numerous Copa de la Diversion brands, as well as the South Carolina Stingrays logo. 'CDMX' logo denotes the abbreviation for Mexico City. I tried to not go over the top with the uniforms whilst still using the patterns in the logo. Helmet is teal shell, cream facemask, teal zigzag stripe, primary logo. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  18. It's not really an alternate universe, so... maybe? I tried to differentiate it from the Fire's logo whilst still using the fire shield. The Sears tower logo was inspired by @Bruins' concept.
  19. Affinity Designer is a vector design program. It costs $50. It's around as complicated as Adobe Illustrator. I wouldn't recommend it for making uniforms, as it imports some kinds of files weirdly. I had to trace the uniform template.
  20. Next team up, the Chicago Stars. (Great Lakes Division, North conference.) Name inspired the the stars adorning the iconic Chicago flag. Uniforms turn the flag into a stripe on the shoulders and pants. Alternate is the away uniform but with just powder blue and red. The helmet has a navy base, powder blue facemask, flag stripe down the middle, with the primary logo on the sides. I really didn't want to go double blue AGAIN, but it just clashed too much with the original black background. Hopefully, the red is enough to balance it out. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  21. I appreciate your suggestions, but I'm not looking for help with team names or ideas right now. As of right now, Mexico City's team is the Stingrays, with a color scheme of teal and cream. A little unorthodox, I know, but something that I think still works. I'll post it sometime soon, as it's almost ready.
  22. The next team up is the Philadelphia Cannons, Atlantic Division, North conference. Named for Philadelphia's part in the American Revolution. A Keystone is placed throughout the identity. The uniform stripes are inspired by the angles of a keystone. Helmet has a red shell with a gray facemask and stripe, with the crossed cannons logo adorning the sides. Alternate uniform is a throwback to the teams original uniform set.
  23. Teams are released in no specific order. Usually, I post a concept once it's complete. New York City's team is not there yet, as so far I only have a name and color scheme. (Emperors, navy and bright orange.) I'll try to post a team later today.
