  1. Pats look great! I think I slightly prefer the white versions. I love the jersey striping and stars on the sleeve cap, although that may not leave room for TV numbers. I'd also like to see the pants stripe in more detail, as I can't tell what exactly it looks like. Overall, this is amazing and would be a great direction for the Pats to go. Great job!
  2. They did have a gradient free version that they didn't use as often, but yeah it's a massive downgrade. The old logo's typography needed some tweaking, but it's still a good logo.
  3. Th browns a bit too dark, it looks almost black. Still a great start for the Browns.
  4. Concepts for the remaining teams are progressing a lot slower than i'd like. Dallas Outlaws and Cleveland Ospreys have wordmarks and color schemes but not logos, Vancouver and Nashville have color schemes and wordmarks but no name, New York and Kansas City have only Color Schemes, and Portland and Atlanta have nothing at all. It will be a while before I get something ready to post here. Sorry for the wait. I may add more to my NFL concepts thread while i'm getting through the final teams.
  5. Once again, haven't made any progress on the remaining 10 teams, so here's another set of updates. Really hoped to get more feedback on the last post, but I'll move on to the next round of updates. Denver Mountaineers: Complete redesign. New Colors, font, and uniforms. Thin, horizontal stripes are found throughout the identity, similar to the lines on topographical maps. Houston Voyagers: Switched the wine back to red, adjusted the spacing on the roundel, and redesigned the uniforms. Jacksonville Cyclones: New font, redesigned uniforms. Jersey steps have the hurricane warning flag in them. Inspired by @mattwillcox's Miami rivalry concept. Minnesota Lumberjacks: Lightened the green a little, updated the logo, added a new font, and updated the uniforms. Seattle Emeralds: Simplified the colors down to three shades of green, redid the logo without the space needle (not quite sure it works as a primary logo), and updated the uniforms. That's all I have for now. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  6. As good as the grey looks, I'd love to see a version that completely replaces it with white. I'd also like to see what the rest of the set looks like with red helmet and pant options, just to see how those fit. All in all, this is an amazing concept that will probably be much better than what the Falcons end up with. Great job!
  7. I think it would definitely look better if the stripe would point down, but pointed up isn't too bad. Overall, it's a great set. No complaints here.
  8. I got a whole bunch of updates for y'all today. Let's jump right in. Boston Mariners: Restructured some things to be more proportional and symmetrical, added a new font, and redesigned the uniforms. Charlotte Aviators: Color scheme is now purple and old gold. Same basic concept, better execution. Chicago Stars: Completely redid the shield so it reflects the flag better and put a bigger emphasis on powder blue. Uniforms are updated accordingly. Cincinnati Shamrocks: Switched from a sans-serif font to an old-school block font, which looks much better, and updated the uniform striping to fit better across the uniform set. St. Louis Legion: Rotated the head downward to look a bit more aggressive, touched up the shading, and added a custom font. Uniforms are adjusted accordingly. That's all I have for now. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  9. Working on updates for Boston and Charlotte. Not quite sure when they will be released, as I'd like to add a new team to the next post.
  10. Didn't think refs' uniforms could be any worse than the AAF's bulletproof vests, but here we are.
  11. Moving on to the next round of concepts. Sand Diego Captains: Completely ditched the Sacramento Kraken, moving the team to San Diego. Went with a nautical/naval theme in powder blue and gold. Chevrons are found throughout the striping. Washington Sentinels: Pretty standard DC concept here. DC flag is used in the shield and striping. I used Bowen Hobbs' Capitals concept as a reference for the dome shading. Los Angeles Waves: Switched the name from Tides to Waves now that Seattle became the Emeralds. Went with a simple, timeless rolling wave logo. Not quite 100% on the gray highlighting, but it's fine for now. I also added a new custom font and tweaked the uniform striping. And here's an updated list of teams and cities. That's all for now. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  12. Sorry for the absence. Wasn't much inspiration this holiday season. I'm trying to update the series at the very least every 2-3 weeks, but I'm not sure how long I can keep up the pace. I made a new template, loosely based on @mr.nascar13 and @raysox's templates, with thicker lines, sleeve detail, and better functionality. Anyways, moving on to the next team, the Miami Suns. I know the name isn't very original, but I couldn't get anything else to work. I went with a neon sign, miami vice theme, with more original colors. I'm not sure the colors work with the Suns moniker, but I think it looks good. I also updated the Baltimore Warriors. I'm still not happy with the name, but the logo change is much more fitting for both the location and mascot. I added a custom wordmark as well. The collar and sleeves have a sublimated flag pattern, similar to Oklahoma State's Uniforms. That's all for now. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated
  13. Moving on to the next team, along with an update. San Antonio Marshals: Went with an old west theme for this team. Put the Alamo on top of the shield. I used beveling to make it more detailed, hopefully it looks good, as this is the first time i've gotten it to work. The serifs and beveling are also found throughout the uniforms. New Orleans Corsairs: Updated the color scheme to one that pops better and added a custom font. (not quite happy with the 7.) That's all I got for now. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  14. Moving on to a concept I don't think is ready yet, but I put it out to see what you guys think. I've also updated Buffalo and redesigned the league logo. Cincinnati Shamrocks: A simple, timeless logo, but a bit too simple for my taste. Uniforms are -again- traditional and timeless, but they fit with the Irish themes. Not so sure I like this, but it works for now. Buffalo Polar Bears: Moved on from the needless double blue, opting instead for powder blue and white. It looks much better in my opinion. made the uniforms more simple as well. Here's an updated league logo. I can't really decide on a color scheme for the league, so it's used in a bunch of colors for now. That's all for now. C&C appreciated. Made in Affinity Designer.
  15. Moving on to the next concept, here is a completely redesigned Seattle team, the Seattle Emeralds. Decided to ditch the Shockwaves moniker, opting instead for a name that fits the city much more. The striping is supposed to reflect the structure of a gemstone. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  16. Sounds fair. I'll remove and revise them until they're suitable.
  17. I didn't trace Sparky's logo. I still should've given credit, and apologize profusely for that, but I didn't trace it. While I did use the basic concept, I made it completely from scratch. I am not trying to defend plagiarism in any way. I should know better than that. Once again, I promise to not do this in the future and would like to move on from this. I am sorry to Sparky and McElroy19 for using parts of their logo without credit. I initially drew parts of these logos several months before I started posting, when I didn't hold myself to a higher standard. I realize now that I shouldn't have made logos that are similar or have copied parts of other logos. If the mods want to punish me, then I am willing to take it. Sorry to everyone once again, I should hold myself to a higher standard.
  18. This logo, along with Dane Storrusten's Sea Lion logo were used as references. I traced the face from this one a long time ago, I realize now I should have changed it a bit more, and should have credited @McElroy19. That one's on me. Sorry, I promise to not do this in the future.
  19. The Atlanta Hawks old number font. Try googling it and you'll find a .ttf file somewhere.
  20. Finally finished up a couple of concepts for London and San Francisco. London Knights: I'm happier with the name and colors and logo now, but I'm struggling to figure out some uniforms. Not 100% convinced it works as a primary logo, but it works for now. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  21. I've got plans to continue this series, just no completed concepts as of right now. Right now i'm scraping together some concepts for London and Dallas. They'll be posted whenever they're done.
  22. Don't have any concepts I like yet, so I thought I should share some updates to a few teams. Québec Lights: Updated logo and uniforms, added a few more colors to the aurora stripe, now one of my personal favorite concepts. Added alternate uniform based on the Québec flag. Toronto Lakers: Tweaked shade of blue and the rope pattern and anchor, made the primary logo into a roundel, added a new custom font, and updated the uniform stripe. Winnipeg Blizzards: Dropped silver from the color scheme, as I thought it was too similar to the Lakers. Added a new custom font and updated the uniforms accordingly. Working on updates for some other teams, but that's all I have for now. Made in Affinity Designer, C&C appreciated.
  23. Once again, sorry for the long absence, never was completely happy with any of the following concepts, but I thought I would post them for feedback. So here are a few beta concepts, along with some updates to some previous teams. Jacksonville Cyclones: Happy with the team name, logo is probably going to stay, just need a secondary logo, and to pick one of the below color schemes. Not completely happy with the uniforms, either. Black and Blue: Burgundy and Powder Blue Denver Mountaineers: Not completely happy with name, logo, or uniforms, but I think this is best I can do as of now. Montréal Monarchs: My favorite of these three concepts, not happy with the name, as they are in the same division as the London Royals (might change their name), but I really like how the logo and uniforms turned out. Went for a 70s-style simple, timeless logo. Notches in the crown represent the fortifications of the city. Updates: New custom font for the Chicago Stars, made minor tweaks to the shield itself, and changed the powder blue uniform. New secondary logo and redesigned uniforms for the St. Louis Legion. I'd love to here your thoughts, especially with color scheme you like more for Jacksonville. That's all for now. Made in Affinity Designer. C&C appreciated.
  24. Have a few concepts that I'm not 100% happy with for Jacksonville, Denver, and Montréal. I'll probably post them in the next few days (edit: today), along with some updates to a few previous teams.
  25. Sorry for the long delay! I hit a roadblock in terms of inspiration but finally scraped together a solid concept. Introducing the Ottawa Grey Jays. Named for the national bird of Canada, the small and subtle -yet fierce- Grey Jay. I'm not completely happy with the logo, but I tried my best to make this unfearsome bird a bit more threatening, whist still retaining its subtle nature. Uniform stripes are supposed to evoke flight and movement, without going to over-the-top. Alternate is a throwback to the original version of the team, the Montréal Mustangs. Made in Affinity Designer, C&C appreciated.
