Why is it that teams always seem to go on these mysterious win streaks in their worst combos? Last year it happened with the Eagles’ black pants and this year the Jets. Plus Bills all-blue. And then teams like the Titans in light blue pants or Pats in silver pants for the first time in years always seem to lose.
A lot of teams wear crap uniforms so we're bound to get a winning streak in them every year just based on the sheer volume of garbage

Sponsors cheaped out and didn't pay to put their logos in the video game?

So when the NFL head coaches had their summit earlier this year, did they all agree to remove the Hail Mary from the offensive playbook and instead agree to implement laterals a million times at the end of the game? There's been a lack of Hail Mary plays this season.
It's funny how this explosion of basing decisions on analytics has coincided with ditching the Hail Mary in favor of a play that has worked twice in the history of the NFL

I agree. The bone color was a case of pushing the envelope when it wasn't necessary.
Every aspect of the uniform was a case of pushing the envelope when it wasn't necessary

Jets win again wearing black pants. We're never gonna see this team look like itself again this season, aren't we?
At least the Buffalo Blueberries lost

I think they should be out of the playoffs if there's a 13-0 TCU, Clemson or OSU/MU. But I still fear they'd get in over TCU because people refuse to believe they can do better than Tennessee.

I can definitely get on board with the idea that the LCS era of 1969-1993 was MLB's golden age. I mean c'mon, it started with the Miracle Mets and ended with Joe Carter's home run. It's too poetic to ignore.

With the white socks trend ruining the NFL aesthetics, one would expect the Dolphins to jump on the occasion to follow the fad and make this combo look good but nope...
Don't worry, half the team will have their white socks pulled up to their knees

Texas rebelled away from like 5 different countries. Their current flag is a symbol of rebelling against Mexico lol

In what way? As far as throwbacks go, it's basically identical to the original.
The fit, mainly. Stirrups vs full-length pants also plays a part. Harper's powder blue accessories also look good

their WNBA team, the Aces (also owned by Mark Davis) just won the WNBA Championship, so they do have a championship winning team, albeit in the WNBA.
Might as well tell us how their lacrosse team is doing

I still love the classic home pinstripe Phillies jerseys with the retro "P" , even the gray away jerseys that came out in the mid-lates 80s until 92.
I may be in the minority...I LOVE the all maroon "Saturday Night Special" worn in 1979...then dropped like a bad habit real fast. Team hated it, and lost in a miserable game to the Expos.
It was brought back again in 2019 for one night, Braves kicked the Phillies butts in that one.
I don't know if the team will ever wear these again.
1979
2019
Modern version looks way better than the original. Don't see that too often

In reference to the Browns-Ravens
It isn't even Ship of Theseus, since Cleveland kept the components that make a franchise a franchise. What happened with the move is more like if the crew all got sent over to Ship B while Theseus sat in a harbor for three years, and 25 years later there are people demanding you recognize Ship B as the real Ship of Theseus

I like playing with the format so that not every team is in gray on the road, but that only applies to light color pants. I'll allow a powder blue, dark cream, the Padres sand, maybe even a muted yellow if someone wanted to try that, and some variations on gray. What I don't think I'll ever get used to is dark color pants.
That just will always look weird and silly to me.

Those were their designated home uniforms the entire season.
