This is sad. To see two once-lauded franchises, both with storied histories, reduced to wearing these awful uniforms as desperate attempts to remain relevant generations after their heydays is genuinely upsetting.

I remember a couple years ago (like 2019 or so) the Braves tried to curtail the chop as best they could. They quit playing the music that initiated it over the PA and they even went as far as playing competing music/sounds over the PA when the fans would start doing it by themselves.
Sadly, once everyone came back from the pandemic they went back to initiating the chop over the PA again. They were getting bad PR during the 2019 NLDS against St. Louis so for game 5 they did all this and the Cards put up 11 runs in the first inning. Atlanta gave up on it and 2 years later they win the World Series. Coincidence?

Buffalo loves looking as bad as possible when they play the Chiefs. Luckily this isn't a primetime game so the odds of KC in all-red are near zero

That is easily the best Dragons logo ever. Same goes for the helmet.

I may even do a full fledged poll to pick the winner. That likely coming in November.
I take it this is going to have a big effect on the upcoming division realignment?

It's a really good name, logo, and uniforms (or they were when worn as originally designed). The Houston Oilers were even better.
Intriguing alternate timeline: the Houston Oilers stick around, whether through a blocked move or a Cleveland Deal, while Tennessee eventually gets its NFL team, the Nashville Predators
Yeah the Oilers had a better everything. I also prefer 'Dallas Texans'. But I'll always go to bat for the current Texans. Great name, logo, good uniforms (also only when worn correctly)

16 games and 12 playoff teams was the equilibrium. Though between the two additions, I can handle a 17th game. The additional playoff team is an eye-roller.

Is all-white considered "monochrome"? I think of white as a neutral non-color since all teams have it. I consider "white" the easel or canvas if you will. Their all-white on the road isn't anything new though. Plenty of photos of Jeff George getting pummeled at Rich Stadium in all-whites.
All this is moot if you were taking about their all-blue "monochrome" uniform.
Yes. Also all-white would be fine if they had striped socks, like the Jeff George Colts, or the current Browns throwback.

It feels a bit like when the Pittsburgh Penguins switched from the skating penguin to the robo-penguin. It wasn't a bad look, and seemed a little more professional, but most fans felt like it was too much of a soulless corporate mark. Pittsburgh went back to the old kitschier logo, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Dolphins end up doing the same eventually.
There's a fine line between professional and soullessly corporate, which the Dolphins crossed with their current logo

The Colts subtly changing their away uniforms to monochrome is so lame

Does Harold Baines have anything in the HOF other than his bust? If not, maybe that's an indicator that he shouldn't have been let in.
Yes, he hit a walk off homer to end the longest game in AL history (25 innings), and that bat is in the Hall

If a quoted post contains a twitter link, when I click to expand the post it instead clicks on the link, which either brings me to the tweet, or if there's a video embedded it'll play that

So y'all remember how a couple pages back I was saying about all these backup quarterbacks and how hardly anyone knows who they are or where they come from?
Well now Bailey Zappe (who?) has entered the chat for the Patriots.
So apparently this guy set an all-time passing record during his last year at Western Kentucky and was drafted in the fourth round this past offseason. Time will tell what happens with this kid...but so far, he's looking pretty decent as the Patriots are currently up on the Packers at Green Bay...
Not just the yards, he set the passing TD record too

If the warning comes then yes but I've stated my reasons why... also kind of impossible for the backwards P considering the feathers and all.
Just rotate the P, not the whole logo

Panthers, Cardinals, and Broncos, c’mon already. Update and upgrade your crappy uni’s sometime before I die.
Panthers got it right from the beginning and I'm glad they never changed

FOX really tried to play up the "Traditional rivals" thing leading into the game -- but Washington looks like a damn expansion team. Not to mention there really aren't any star players that have carried over from 2019 when they were known as the slur-name.
An IFL expansion team maybe. This uniform is so bad I can't even think of a good comparison to mock it with. It's a new paradigm of suck

Dolphins with aqua pants and aqua socks
Eagles with white pants and white socks
Jaguars with teal pants and teal socks
Vikings with purple pants and purple socks
Saints with white pants and white socks
Seahawks in navy pants and navy socks
Am I alone in hating this trend?
The funny part is when a team is wearing non-white pants and socks of the same color, players magically stop pulling up their white oversocks like they do in every other situation

Being "physically gifted" doesn't make you a better QB than guys who can actually win games. If you can't put up touchdowns and lead your team to the playoffs then you aren't a good QB. Jamarcus Russell being able to toss the ball 90 yards and truck linebackers doesn't make him a better QB than Jay Schroeder.
Rypien was above average for the Skins
