Not sure why we (Chiefs) can't have red endzones for the Super Bowl, we don't really use yellow as a primary color at all.
They did yellow endzones in the 2019 playoffs to throw back to the 1960s team, which went with the celebrations of the league's history since it was the NFL's 100th year, 60 since the AFL was founded, and 50 years since they won SBIV. KC's ownership is rather tradition-minded so I assume they've kept it going because it's a connection to their successful AFL years (also they keep winning with yellow endzones)

There's been some discussion with the ongoing "blandness" of Super Bowl fields in recent years, and even know it was around for two years, I think the "banner" version of the endzones from XL and XLI are underrated.
I think adding this back would add more flair to the end zone designs of Super Bowl fields and be a first step to bringing us closer to more visually appealing fields.I would be OK with this if they color coded the banner to each team. In that pic it looks good for Seattle because it's in their colors. Pittsburgh's sticks out like a sore thumb

If you were hoping for the NFL to do anything more creative with the Super Bowl field design, better luck next year.
Swapping which endzones the conferences occupy for the first time in 8 years is pretty notable

We have reached the 15-vote threshold, but we are not particularly close to a decision in what is proving to be a tight race from top to bottom.
8 Snowbirds
7 Juice
5 Lightning
3 Tropics
Will this one go the distance (tomorrow at 5pm) or will one of these names start to build a more substantial lead? All of Central Florida is waiting to find out.
If I can change my vote I'll pick Snowbirds. I said Tropics previously

Glad they switched it up. Makes this Super Bowl distinct from LIV, and it was getting stale seeing the Chiefs' endzone in the same spot every year

When was the last time or ever that two teams open the season and met in the Super Bowl? The Lions and Chiefs opened the Thursday game on week one.
Just checked all of them and it's never happened

Joe Thuney (all-pro guard) and Derrick Nnadi (the Chiefs’ best runstuffer) are out, Willie Gay (the Chiefs’ usual QB spy), Mike Edwards (underrated ballhawk) and Isaiah Pacheco are questionable and Marc Andrews just got activated off the IR. Those of you looking for a cathartic beatdown of the Chiefs (most of you I assume) are probably going to be in for a treat tomorrow as the final injury report is giving me Super Bowl LV vibes what with all the battered talent. AFAIC, they got one game further than I thought they would so I’m alright with whatever happens.
That's rough but on the other hand they've ruled out Kadarius Toney which is a huge blow to the Ravens defense

Not for nothing, but the Jets' uptown brethren in blue don't exactly use a giant in their logo, either...AND their current logo is in lowercase letters to boot, the total opposite of "giant".
So there's that, for what it's worth...
Bring it back

Color vs color would be nice sometimes but I think it would be another pandora's box where you're going to get too much bad to go with the good, with no way of going back. Similar to the alternate helmets
