If anything, it illustrates my point even more. An undefeated ACC champion is not automatically as strong as a 1-loss SEC or Big 12 champion. If that were Louisville or Duke, would you give them as much credit as Florida State or Clemson? I’m guessing not.
Yes...?

I don't like San Francisco's white pants

"Why on earth are the Rams wearing..." is a question that can be asked every week

Is there really a need for the Raiders to make a statement on a five year old Native American kid wearing a headdress at a football game? If NA people aren't allowed to wear them then who is?
No, just like there's no need for the Chiefs to make one or for anyone to expect such a thing

Why can this team wear the Creamsicles in October, but December is too hot to wear anything but white? At least they threw that crucial fire emoji at the end of the tweet.
The Bucs are a white-at-home team, it's not a temperature thing

KC's had those rules for a few years now and I don't recall any shots of headdresses or redblackface in Arrowhead since. That kid was at a game in LV, where's the Raiders' statement?

Titans seems generic because their branding and uniforms are directionless. The team has no real identity, so their nickname feels tacked on. Doesn't have anything to do with how many high schools use the moniker

CBS used white for the Steelers both today and last week. They used dark orange for both the Bengals and Browns in those respective games against Pittsburgh. It slightly bugs me because why couldn’t they use black or yellow instead of white? It would totally be enough contrast against dark orange. I’ve found that the networks seem to be color coding the team graphics now corresponding with what color jerseys the teams are wearing. I’m not a huge fan of using white unless it’s absolutely necessary for contrast, but in most cases an alternate dark color could typically be used over white. It just has an “lazy” feel to it. And tbh, typical fans who are watching the game shouldn’t really be confused by team graphics colors vs. actual jersey colors. I never remember networks using white for team graphics until recently.
Also, They’ve used both black and gold (beige) for the Saints interchangeably. I guess it really just depends.
I think they avoid yellow because it's the color of their penalty indicator. I noticed whenever the Chiefs play another red team their background will be grey instead of yellow/white or even black. Looks pretty silly

I think it'll be:
Sugar Bowl:
Georgia (13-0) vs. Florida State (13-0)
Rose Bowl:
Michigan (13-0) vs. Oregon (12-1)
UGA vs Michigan for the natty is what we need as a country
1 hour ago, McCall said:Oregon has the best shot at being a 2-loss team to get in, as both would have come to undefeated, playoff team Washington. But I think Texas, Alabama and Florida State would all have to lose next week. It would probably, then, come down to them and Ohio State for the final spot. Honestly, objectively speaking, either team would have a legitimate claim for it.
2016, 2017, 2021, & 2022 all had 1-loss non-champions in over 2-loss champions. A 2-loss non-champion Oregon has no shot

Once again, the helmet finish makes the red too dark.
If the "candy" finish is a must for you, then they need to bump the red up a shade (from 187 C to 186 C / 185 C) to compensate.
That pose lmao

The evening game should always be open for any team, as it has been. You can't force a tradition like the Lions or Cowboys have done and expect it to stick.
It's not about making a tradition, it's all about aesthetics. Cardinals vs Chiefs feels like a Thanksgiving game in a way that Titans vs Chargers does not

I don't like how the evening game never has the same Thanksgiving vibe as the Cowboys & Lions games. I think the Cardinals are the only team on the west coast that fits and wouldn't mind them hosting every year.

The ball was over the plane but most of his body was in the field of play so not the easiest call to make in real time. It's on Cleveland for not challenging it

Yeah this is one of those instances were two classic uniforms just don't match up well. Reminds me of Super Bowl XLV, though that was even less aesthetically pleasing

The white leggings did not start until this year when Sean Payton arrived. He also has a history with making the saints an all black and all white team under his tenure so he is to blame imo.
They did this last year

That beautiful system that put the #4 team in the natty in 2001 despite them not playing in their conference title game (which was won by the #3 team, who they lost to H2H), resulted in a split national championship in 2003, left out undefeated Auburn in 2004 despite them having a better resume than OU, left out the only undefeated FBS team in 2008, left out TCU in 2010 despite them having gone undefeated two years in a row, was even more hostile toward G5 teams, and gave us an SEC divisional rematch in the title game in 2011.
