Disagree completely. Pant stripes at least still look like a football uniform. Stripeless pants leading into socks of the same color is what truly gives off the full legging effect, which I can't stand.

My ideal Bruins jerseys moving forward are the previous jerseys with the centennial logo on the front.

I've been watching, the Rangers took care of business in the first two games. Of course, they held a 2-0 lead against the Lightning in 2022 and the Devils last year before blowing both series, so this series is far from over.

I think the Storm Surge is great. I thought the Wings player doing the griddy earlier this season was awesome too. I loved the empty net antics that took place this season. But I don't know what to tell you if you don't cringe with secondhand embarrassment at Carolina's social media presence. A professional sports team tweeting "CRY" is simply absurd.

It's not that they're being arrogant, it's just that some of it seems so over the top that it borders on desperation. That's what makes Carolina's fanbase off-putting to me, at least.

Let's be clear here, I'm far from an unbiased observer of the Hurricanes's Twitter account. I'm a Rangers fan who would love to see Carolina flame out of the playoffs as soon as possible. I don't like that team anyway.

Not disagreeing with you, but what Carolina does is just being obnoxious for the sake of being obnoxious. You have a great team with all the pieces to push for the Cup. You don't need to act like a 13 year old on Xbox to beg people for attention on top of that.

Agreed. The Hurricanes' whole persona is built on taking "traditional" hockey ideals and shoving them in the face of everyone else. I think it stems from them leaning into the "Bunch of Jerks" label in 2019. If old hockey just shut their mouths that year I don't think Carolina's social media presence ever becomes this insufferable.

I know I'm in the minority, but I really don't like these. Besides switching back to the original shade of navy blue so that it can match the helmet, everything else is a downgrade. I don't like either of the two alternates and the number font is significantly worse.

I hate the new numbers. They look incredibly gimmicky compared to the original font, which was much closer to standard block. It also didn't help that they decided to switch to navy numbers outlined in red on the road.

This is precisely why I can't stand their team. I have absolutely nothing against the players, I'm sure they're great people just like any NHLers you'll ever come across, but their marketing and fanbase is unbearable (and yes, it does extend to their visual identity as well).

And the socks. Which all match the pants color. Eww. But my main problem is that they decided to keep the same colors. I cannot understate how much more I'd like these jerseys if they were in the royal blue and deeper orange of the throwbacks. That navy and flat shade of orange just don't do it for me.
