  1. I LOVE when the 49ers do red endzones (my one nitpick is that I wish they still had the two-bar helmet instead of the NFL logo, but overall it's beautiful)
  2. 2008 Titans wore light blue in the Divisional Round
  3. Think I've made this point before, but those decisions are more the fault of the franchise than the league as a whole. I've always thought the alternates in the playoffs rule was a fun way to make a particular playoff run memorable (the Lady Liberty jerseys gave Gretzky's one playoff run with the Rangers a fun flair) or tease a future rebrand (2006 Ducks, 2007 Canucks, 2014 Ducks, 2016 Penguins). If the Canucks want to wear the black skate alternate (I agree it shouldn't be worn in the playoffs), blame them, not the league rule. Out of the two options you gave, I'd rather go with primaries only in the playoffs. Mixing and matching should never take place on a playoff run.
  4. "Something different" and "their best look" are two very different things. That's the conclusion you went with when you saw that? Huh?? I'd say about 90% of the time a team teases new equipment colors, they're meant to be worn with an alternate jersey.
  5. White over purple against the 49ers, Packers, or Bucs would be fantastic.
  6. Texans/Lions would be pretty bad as well since the Texans have forgotten that navy socks can be worn with white pants. We'd get both teams in white leggings.
  7. Already wanted the Ravens to go one and done. Now I've got another reason to root against them. The only thing I can think of that would cause this is that they wore black leggings all the way to the Super Bowl in 2012 Edit: Figured out why they're doing this: They beat the Texans in this exact uniform matchup *in the playoffs* in 2011
  8. Please no Also, they did wear the white throwbacks against the Pats in Week 8
  9. It's not (unless you're referring to the orange in the logo, which I wouldn't count)
  10. Honestly I'd be completely shocked by a new uniform design in 2024 that doesn't have monochrome as the intended primary combos. This is also the perfect time for the Seahawks to update their uniforms, considering they're entering a new era after Pete Carroll has been fired by promotion. The final man standing from the Legion of Boom era is gone.
  11. I just tend to be quite traditional in my uniform tastes, and that's even more so in the playoffs.
  12. (A) Lions aren't gonna wear silver pants next week (B) I sincerely hope color vs color in the playoffs is not allowed. Would look completely bush league. Yeah - it's their one mono-color look that has stripes on the pants.
  13. I don't consider it mono-white if there's navy socks. It's white-on-white, sure, but it's not the same as the "" look that's become popular across the league.
  14. The pewter pants/black socks look better than usual tonight, maybe it's just the lighting.
  15. Well, too bad pretty much every other offensive play the Eagles run can be stopped.
  16. I'd imagine that the Reebok Edge disasters soured everyone on that color scheme. How do you go from to
  17. I prefer this photo In all seriousness, why the Capitals haven't moved on from their Reebok uniforms is beyond me. Sure, they won a Cup in them, but the design is just horrible. I can't find a single redeeming quality about their current uniforms.
  18. I want to like this look, but it just looks kind of off to me.
  19. Congrats to the Lions. I can't even imagine how Lions fans are feeling right now.
  20. Rams/Lions in DET: 2018 2009/2010/2012/2016 2003 2001 1999 I'd say "best" since 2016. Hated the white horn look in 2018, but at least in the 09/10/12/16 matchups, each team had properly contrasting uniform elements. Of course, 1999 blows the other matchups here out of the water. 2001 and 2003 are a distant second and third.
  21. I try not to comment on the untucked shirt trend, since every single player does it, but my goodness does David Montgomery look bad with that untucked black shirt. That trend is particularly unbearable when the untucked shirt is a color that's not present anywhere else on the uniform.
