Looking at the Bucs tonight, I wonder if they should look into red socks. The black socks look fine with the white jerseys, but they look off with the red jerseys. Maybe that's part of why they don't wear the red jerseys often besides the heat.
The pewter pants/black socks look better than usual tonight, maybe it's just the lighting.

According to Neil DeGrasse Tyson, the Brotherly Shove / Tush Push cannot be stopped.
Well, too bad pretty much every other offensive play the Eagles run can be stopped.

In all seriousness, why the Capitals haven't moved on from their Reebok uniforms is beyond me. Sure, they won a Cup in them, but the design is just horrible. I can't find a single redeeming quality about their current uniforms.

I want to like this look, but it just looks kind of off to me.

Congrats to the Lions. I can't even imagine how Lions fans are feeling right now.

This is easily the best this Rams/Lions matchup has looked in a quarter century.
Rams/Lions in DET:
2018
2009/2010/2012/2016
2003
2001
1999
I'd say "best" since 2016. Hated the white horn look in 2018, but at least in the 09/10/12/16 matchups, each team had properly contrasting uniform elements.
Of course, 1999 blows the other matchups here out of the water. 2001 and 2003 are a distant second and third.

I try not to comment on the untucked shirt trend, since every single player does it, but my goodness does David Montgomery look bad with that untucked black shirt. That trend is particularly unbearable when the untucked shirt is a color that's not present anywhere else on the uniform.

Cowboys/Packers looks outstanding, as expected (except for half the Cowboys wearing white socks, but we already knew that was gonna happen).

28-27 Dallas. Book it.
I'd imagine as a Bucs fan you're rooting for the Packers because if they win, the Rams win, and you win, you get a second home game next week.

This would be the first time a 2 seed ever fails to make it to the Divisional Round

Maybe this is why the refs are biased against Buffalo. No one wants to be there into late January.
(Kidding but not really.)
I mean I doubt anyone wanted to be in New England or Green Bay in late January and yet those teams were getting calls for years
(kind of /s)

Is any All Star Game jersey really revered as a classic? Minnesota's get a lot of praise but I don't think anyone would call either of them a classic design. Maybe the Orange and Black ones from the early 90's?The mid-90s star design certainly has a lot of fans

Speaking of predictable posts, here's another one trashing the ass birds.
Can teams really put "fat" clauses in rookie contracts? I thought those things were standardized these days. But it's come out that Jordan Davis, billed as one of those Georgia guys that just "know how to win" (yet none of them that they've drafted can actually hack it against grown-ass men), has been getting fined on a weekly basis for being overweight. And he's just like "OK, fine me, I'm not gonna stop eating Funyuns in the huddle."
While a fat clause seems a little extreme to me, it is what it is and imagine having the opportunity of a lifetime to be an NFL player on one of the winningest franchise of this century and pissing it away.
Do we have a new punchline for Kelvin Benjamin jokes?

Which will they get right first, the uniforms or their on-the-field performance?
They should take the example of the Buffalo Sabres, who finally fixed their uniforms after a decade and a half of wandering the desert with navy blue, despite being in the midst of a complete tailspin and posting one of the worst seasons in franchise history in the first season of the new set.

Wait I didn't even see this photo yet. Gimmicky nameplate font underneath gimmicky number font? That makes it 100000x worse. What kind of basketball uniform bull
is this??
Implying that these uniforms would belong more to Nashville is an insult to Nashville.

Agreed.
This isn't even a case of the jerseys could look better with the rest of the gear. These are irredeemable.
Wasn't planning on watching the All Star Game, and this isn't exactly convincing me to.

I truly wonder if there’s any reason why they couldn’t just use the color scheme full-time if they really wanted to
Pretty sure the Titans trademarked the colors

The colours are passable.
Disagree. Really don't like the yellow star theme this year. Heard it compared to Carl's Jr/Hardee's and Mario Party. Not exactly the height of hockey uniform design.

I actually have always wondered this... if your end zone background is not white (or another light color like yellow), then what is the purpose of leaving a foot in between the boundary? It's always been a pet peeve of mine. Like, you're telling me if it comes down to a play on the backline, the ref can't distinguish between a navy blue and white line?
I understand it at like, say, the Rose Bowl, because they use a colored border, but just never understood the need for the space otherwise.
Considering they were doing it at SoFi, I wonder if it had anything to do with being able to quickly switch between Rams and Chargers end zones. Then again, looking through GUD, they fully painted the SoFi end zones in 2020. And that doesn't explain the Texans doing it either. I think it's just saving money on paint.

The New York Rangers are now on a four game losing streak. We can outshoot teams, but our defense and goaltending has become nonexistent. Just watched this team head into the third against the Caps with a 2-1 lead and then give up two goals in a minute to lose 3-2. I hope the NFL playoffs can cheer me up later today, because this game was just depressing to watch.
