  1. In the past couple of years the NFL hasn’t had nearly enough obstacles in the way of crappy uniform decisions if you ask me.
  2. Because the NFL’s “rules” about alts and throwbacks are only for the teams that bother to follow them.
  3. Sure, I could see that argument, but I think this thread is for what team will be wearing, not what they should be wearing. And the throwback the Vikings are wearing in this upcoming game will have trim around the numbers. (and I see has already been fixed... good work, @canzman)
  4. The Vikings’ glorious throwbacks should have gold trim on the numbers. And, again, are glorious.
  5. The Seahawks' color distribution is all out of whack, anyway. The helmet is navy, with gray and white details, and a tiny drop of green. The home jersey is navy, with a fair amount of gray, green trim and no white. The white jersey has navy numbers, a small amount of green, and no gray. The navy pants have green trim, but no white, or gray. The gray and white pants have no green. WTH?
  6. Millions of dollars of Ford Company advertising says the Lions keep that game.
  7. Yes, starting about ten years ago.
  8. That funny because when I was writing about how cheesy metallic fabrics look, the Golden Knights uniform was exactly what I was thinking about.
  9. I guess in my way of thinking, if it’s innocuous and subtle, is it really worth doing? Like if that area that was created with metallic thread was instead just straight forward gold, would the design be different in any impactful way? Would someone who liked it as is like it less? My philosophy in design is that if an element isn’t adding to the overall look in any significant way you’re probably better off just leaving it off. I feel like so many of these subtle touches get added just to show off some new technology with the hope of selling more down the line. I just don’t need it, personally.
  10. The Cardinals' all white uniforms look like ass. The silver inner stripe on the pants and jersey just completely disappears. It looks like two very thin red stripes placed weirdly wide. And that's because they made the absolutely moronic decision to make those stripes reflective. Why? Same reason teams put useless sublimated patterns in their numbers... because they can. All reflective, or chrome, or metallic thread elements on sports uniforms are garbage. Not usually. Not mostly. Always.
  11. Finishing this off... When I started there were only two west coast teams to worry about. I'm trying to get this done before they add more.
  12. Yeah, I'd probably agree with you about Wyoming's gold numbers. I just grabbed the first image I saw. It's better with white numbers... how about this one?
  13. I get that a lot of people feel this way. Personally, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the white helmet over colored jersey and pants look, provided the pants are gold or silver, and significantly lighter than the jersey. (The Titans' white/columbia/navy combo was horrible.) This may be a candidate for unpopular opinions, but these are some of my favorite uniforms...
  14. So it’s the mesh jersey and not stumbling into two hall of fame Quarterbacks back to back? Im going to go ahead and assume this is sarcasm.
  15. Having all three major elements (helmet, jersey, pants) a different color, without one of the being white, is a terrible idea in football. There are very few "rules" of uniforms I would consider an absolute, but this might be one of them. Ghastly.
  16. "Shoelace", actually. Watch him hand the ball off here...
  17. Yeah, Esqueleto definitely had his moments. But I just enjoyed it more when it was just Jack Black clearly running without a script doing dumb stuff. No matter how old I get I’ll always be a sucker for low brow, infantile humor.
  18. The first half hour or 45 minutes of that movie is hilarious, when it’s just Jack Black tooling around on a rickety bicycle doing stupid stuff using an inappropriate accent. Then they decide that all movies need a plot and there’s some sort of wrestling angle and it bogs down to a crawl. For anyone who hasn’t seen it, just watch until the wrestling starts then turn it off. (Which is kind of just the opposite of most movies which feature ridiculous wrestling plots.)
  19. In this particular case, they’d look better if they matched. It looks like a mistake.
