I blame the Nets and their Jean-Michel Basquiat inspired City Edition uniforms for this latest trend of utilizing local artists. Now other teams will look to follow suit …but while it might work for the Nets, it may not work for other teams. Not feeling the Wolves attempt based on a Bob Dylan mural Mavs & Suns leaks. Not feeling these either

How about Navy, Teal, and Yellow …tie all of eras of M’s baseball together.

Here’s the Liberty White helmet they also tested out last year in the lobby. Interestingly enough, with a white face mask (personally I would’ve chose a navy face mask like the original concept helmet) Battle Red helmet was the right choice.

Maybe find a compromise? The name and colors are off limits. But what if the Texans wore white helmets, navy jerseys, and white pants, complete with the consistent striping the Oilers uniforms had? That was the part of the Oilers uniforms I really liked, from the helmet, to the jerseys, to the pants, to the socks. It was entirely consistent. The striping and numerals aren’t off limits. It would be an Oilers-esqe touch to the Texans brand, tying the past present and future together.

There’s beauty in simplicity, that’s the Brooklyn look and it has local ties. It’s prefect. What the Jazz have done is just plain boring with no real ties except “Beehive State.” And even then, they choose to use Volt, not Yellowjacket. Embrace the Purple Mountain Majesty look of the Stockton/Malone era. The future concept uniform (right) they unveiled should’ve been the way

This would’ve been perfect if the 2020 Cleveland Indians had won the World Series. It would’ve been the 100th anniversary of these 1921 uniforms, a neat nod to history while celebrating success …oh well.

It almost looks candy paint red, which would be a cool nod to the slab car culture there. But I can’t envision this megachurch Gemstones football franchise being that in tune with their city. Red is an easy choice over a bland white helmet and this Battle Red helmet is one of the few things they’ve gotten right since blowing 24-0 at Kansas City.

Like the colors and vibe. But the hats are a disappointment, Nike mailed it in there. Basically a colorway. A Swingin Friar colorway could’ve worked as a hat logo switch up from the interlocking SD. Now that all of this year’s City Connect uniforms are revealed, IMO the Astros and Royals are the best in 2022. I have the White Sox and Marlins as best in 2021.

Im guessing “San Diego” will be in the font we see on the socks. Considering the colors, mismatched sleeves sound like an awful idea. What are they designing, Hawaiian shirts?

It’s just one game but I really :censored:ing hate being no hit by THAT team in OUR house. Twice. WTF? Lone bright spot is Cole train appears to be on track. Gallo and Donaldson need to be gone.

Nothing about this says Utah or Beehive State aside from the colors. Nothing says Jazz basketball or their history about it either (aside from the retina searing Volt jersey). Just a plain template. Just plain terrible.

The only issue I have with this is the Hurricane Force Wind Warning flag is red, not blue. Maybe swap for the primary logo in Panthers colors or use the appropriate Hurricane Force Wind Warning flag colors of the secondary logo on a Carolina Blue jersey base, which IMO might look even better.
