So does that mean the LAFC leak is legit? If they are using 2022 WC template for the MLS shirts.
Most likely. Especially since these kits are usually planned out 2 years in advance.

Not feeling the centered badge.
That centered badge will make things painful if there's a championship star involved. It's even worse with MLS Cup branding.
And it limits what you can work with unless you place it to the right of the logos.

New Orleans as well, or is the Superdome too old now?
I'm surprised the NFL hasn't told the Saints to get a new stadium yet. I'm sure they'll be saying that soon though.

Super Bowl LXI will be in Los Angeles. NFL not waiting long to return.
NFL will also be bringing a regular season game to Sao Paulo, Brasil in 2024.

They're also upping the amount of overseas games.

Houston and Dallas will remain in rotation as well.

St. Nick's AFC
And now it's time for the man in the hat! The 2022 Christmas League champions, Saint Nicholas AFC, shorthand St. Nick's, seem to have the ability to be everywhere on the field at any time. The home shirt is a standard double red design with green accents. The away shirt is meant to recall the winds and roads that St. nick uses to get presents to all who have earned them for the year.

Next up is Krampus FC. Always foretelling the imminent arrival of Saint Nicholas himself, Krampus FC are the team that enjoys the dark arts of football. No sticks, ropes, or black sacks in view, but they are the most physical team in the league.

Why is the club badge so huge? I'd rather they have the wordmark with the logo as well instead of just the anchor logo.

Ok I have to ask since you mentioned the abdominal show monster. Are heat and snow Meiser in consideration.
Not in this year's batch, but maybe I should include them next year if I do this again.

Proof that the new timing rules are speeding up football. Army and Navy probably threw more passes today than the last 5 years and the game was still over in under three hours. That being said, that was one of the better endings to the game in quite a while.

Any time we can boo the hell out of Don Garber is a great day! I have to admit I may have been stuck to the edge of my seat for the last 20+ minutes. Glad to see 3 stars on next year's shirts.

Even Yukon Cornelius can't stop this squad. It's Sasquatch F.C. Meant to represent the mountainous terrain around North Pole, the home kit is a mix of blues, greens, and whites. The blizzard kit is an all white affair, just like most people see before running into the bumble, though his bark is significantly worse than his bite nowadays.

Check the "Other" section under Football.
Good catch. I probably saw these and ditched them immediately out of my brain.
The USFL has been doing rotating sales of their teams, so the conspiracy nuts are using them to guess which teams are actually surviving.

Watching old video of the San Antonio Gunslingers and the Houston Gamblers. And I have a question, would we see the possibility of fauxbacks for teams that were in the XFL in cities that had USFL teams in them at one point? San Antonio, Houston, Orlando (when they return), and the current USFL teams are the only ones that would fall into that group I believe. I know Royal Retros makes throwbacks and some knockoff current USFL team jerseys, but they don't make them for the current XFL teams.

I took a page from Kit and Bone (kitandbone.com) and started making some home and away shirts based on prospective teams playing at Santa's Workshop during the year up to Christmas Eve. As a result the North Pole League has come to be. Here is the league badge, a Christmas tree with soccer ball ornamentation on it.
First up is Christmas Forest, obviously inspired in name by Nottingham Forest, but I wanted to have a team that uses quartered jerseys.

Cannot stand the Lakers in yellow vs a white uniform. Good lord. Why not the Pels in navy?
Navy may have been an issue, but at least wear the black uniforms that we were expecting. Either the Lakers or Pacers will be wearing a dark uniform for the championship so we'll see all the complaining by the league is for naught.

Copa America draw. USA has a decent group, it should be interesting to see how it goes.

Point of order: it's going to be a 5+7 model next year thanks to the Pac-12 demise. Also they're forcing the top 4 to be conference champions so even if Notre Dame goes 12-0, they can't be seeded any higher than fifth.
22 minutes ago, walkerws said:If a Notre Dame team (12-0) is the best team, meaning all the champs have losses, then it's restrictive. It seems like a forcing function to make the champions get seeds 1-4.
The surprising bit of this is that Notre Dame agreed to this, because they don't want to be tied down to a conference. They're part of the ACC for everything else except hockey, but are beholden to staying independent in football. They're also expecting that with a 10-2 or 9-3 season they'll make a 12 team field without issues. And if the same committee is used, they're right. Notre Dame's schedule at 12-0 should be enough for the #1 seed, but unless it's written into the contracts it's moot.

8 minutes ago, Ted Cunningham said:Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks. That's an interesting wrinkle. And it makes sense that they would only want one non-P4 conference champ.
They want to keep printing money, they don't care about equity or all leagues would get a seat in the playoffs.

I am surprised the men's game hasn't moved to quarters as well. FIFA stopped that how long ago?
It's even weirder because the women have been using quarters for a while as well.

Don't make excuses.
Starting QB, multiple WRs leaving to probably include Harrison. It's not an excuse, it's just facts. Unless the Buckeyes decide they're just going to run with Henderson until his legs run off, I'm not expecting much from two quarterbacks who have thrown less than 20 passes all season against a competent defense. If Brown is the QB, I'd expect a basic option attack that should be easy to defend.

Yes. Which will help soften the blow from Ohio State losing to Mizzou in the Cotton Bowl.
I'm just waiting to see how many players the Buckeyes still have for the game.

Welcome to college football! You’ve got, like, 104 seasons to catch up on and they’re just littered with exactly what you’re describing. It’s all eye tests and opinions and all of that. And yes, all FSU had to do was look competent in either of their two games without Travis instead of fielding the second worst offense in the country. But Rodemaker was terrible against Florida so I don’t know why anybody thinks he would’ve fared better against Louisville.
I'd say winning games with players that had less than a week with the starting roster shows great competency.

The newly renamed Concacaf Champions Cup matchups have been announced.
Inter Miami gets Nashville FC/Moca FC (Dominincan Republic) winner. Columbus Crew get either Houston Dynamo or St. Louis FC. Orlando will play Calvary FC, but there are rumors that Calvary's match could get moved to Vancouver to minimize issues with frozen pitches. Would Hamilton get moved to Montreal, or do they have heaters under the turf? I'm still surprised only one Mexican team got a bye into the Round of 16, but I think they were expecting to win Leagues Cup instead of Miami.
