Any news on Army-Navy Game unis yet? Thought I saw that merch would be available starting 11/20, so I assume uni reveals by then.
Last year's wasn't announced until after Thanksgiving, so I guess we'll be getting the release on the 20th.

I expect they'll wear orange pants against the Steelers again, per tradition. Should be a great-looking game.
If the Steelers have a white version of the block numbers, they should bring those.

Honestly though, we haven't seen these kind of misses on big QB deals before. We've seen countless draft busts but how many players/teams have just totally tanked after giving a QB a big contract? Not many that I can think of. I think we're in uncharted territory here.
Wentz was a major bust money-wise. The biggest bust money-wise is still Albert Haynesworth. Dude didn't even bother playing some games after he got paid.

I'd imagine we see these crazy QB contracts dwindle with all the misses lately. Forgot Kyler Murray and Daniel Jones too.
You would think so, but the NFL has proven time and again they're happy to chase bad money with more money when it comes to quarterbacks.

That was just for the presentation event they apparently had last night. They probably didn’t have any blank authentics to print up.
I figured as much, I would have loved for the Apple TV logo to disappear but I was pretty sure we aren't that lucky.

Josh Allen’s albatross contract is still only the 2nd worst in football
Watson leaves Cleveland on the hook for $64 million from 2024-26. No one else should cry about how much money they're wasting on quarterbacks until they get within $10 million of that.

The Timbers have announced their new jersey advertiser, DaBella:
I’m mostly just glad it’s a local company, and the logo looks fine enough. It’s still a significant downgrade from Alaska Airlines IMO, and there were several other options that I would’ve preferred, but it’s fine. We’ve seen much worse across the league.
Are they using replica jerseys? I don't see the Apple TV logo under the MLS crest.

That should of been silver and black so it would acknowledge his coaching time with the Raiders! This disappoints me that they chose brown and orange instead!!!
Since they're acknowledging him as an announcer and not as a coach, using Thanksgiving colors makes more sense.

Having no team in any part of Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio) is a bold move. I think eventually they will have to go to the Lone Star State. All of the other niche sports leagues (WNBA, NWSL, NLL, XFL/USFL, MLR, USL) all have at least one team in Texas.
Unless they try a team at the Star in Frisco again, I don't know where else they'd try a get a team in Texas.

All the teams playing on Thanksgiving will be wearing a John Madden patch.

The ultimate karma. Fxk you Watson. Fxk you Browns.
It's just a shoulder injury. Relax. Also, as a Browns fan I can enjoy watching the team a lot more when he's not on the field.

The jersey designs are good for the most part. Not having team names or logos to go with them is just stupid and just gives any haters more reason to talk bad about the league, which in this case, would be deserved. Really limits themselves in terms of merch sales, too.
As far as the jerseys themselves, Montreal or Ottawa really needed a much brighter red. They look pretty much the same to me, whether that's because of the lighting or because they are. Minnesota's white jersey is similar to the Arizona Coyotes where all the dark colours just blend into each other. They need to go back to the drawing board on that one.

It feels like whoever came up with these watched "A League of our Own" and said, that's what we should do! But since roundels with city crests are hard to see on hockey sweaters they just copied a Rangers jersey for everyone.

The new Atlas logo is a downgrade. It looks like a Project Rock reject.
There's no reason to change from this. Just add New York above or below Atlas.

Amsterdam and Dublin look spectacular. I really like where you've started for Leeds, but it feels like there's something missing from the top of the knight's helmet. Perhaps you could add a flume like UCF's logo.
Plumes weren't actually used on that specific helmet. But I think it's suffered from the same falsehood as Viking helmets, with extra adornments preferred that were never used. At least not in combat. They were included in ceremonial armor at times.

I just kinda feel like we’re getting diminishing returns from this team. That’s usually not a great sign.
As long as they don't start looking like Marvin Lewis' teams and keep going out in the first round of the playoffs, I think McDermott is safe.

Seems like a desperate move from a bad coaching staff. I think McD’s days are numbered.
This is the first time in a while that they're on a slide. I'd be surprised to see him sacked this year.

Mississippi State fires Arnett after one year. I feel like this is a bit harsh, but remembering that he was an emergency move after Mike Leach's death I can see why they did this now. They aren't likely to get a big name in, but moving on to a new system that works better for the players they have is just as important. It sucks for Arnett, and I hope he lands on his feet sooner than later.

These aren't necessarily templates, but they should be helpful.

Neither New York team should have another national game this season, unless that idiot Rodgers comes back - that's at least compelling TV, even if it's just to see if there's going to be another unfortunate accident.
I'm curious if there's really a ratings boost when these teams are as awful as they are, despite them being in the biggest market. I guess they wanted Dallas too, which makes sense, but how many people turned that off after the first quarter?
I get that their job isn't to find the best game but to find the game that'll get the most eyeballs, but there has to be better options. Oh, and LOL at the Giants. I'm not sure how anyone who saw them play last year and get killed in their biggest game could have thought they were actually a "good" team, rather than the "best bad" team. They've reverted to the norm, which I think everyone outside of their fans knew would happen. Barkley has set his cause back years, if not killed it altogether (other RBs should be furious with him), and Jones is who we thought he was - and their moronic GM owes him something like $30M (guaranteed) next year? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
Barkley should have held out for an actual offensive line instead of money. That the Giants didn't make Jones earn his next deal shows how bad that front office is at their job.

Who had Chelsea taking 4 points from Spurs and Man City combined the last two matchdays? The beauty of soccer. Tottenham also had their hearts broken at Wolves losing 2-1 Saturday.
They've gone Spursy early this year. Chelsea have been good the last two weeks, but have lost games they should have been bossing.

British Gridiron League - 16/16 Coventry Titans

Madden 19 or 20 could work, as well as 2K05. Either of them should be pretty cheap. I believe Thomas Hatfield used Madden 22 for his league series that started as World Gridiron. For Madden there's a lot of layers for adding logos and such, but it's an option as well if you'd still have to pay for Draft Day.
