I dont like that there are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night games. Games 1 and 2 for CBS-ATL are on weeknights, and game three if necessary on  a Sunday night. Just horrible scheduling all around.

As much as Apple TV has had everyone playing at the same time, they are doing the opposite for the playoffs. I'm happy they aren't all playing at the same time, but they should at least be playing within a day of each other.

Espn says the City uniforms will be worn for the in season tournament... So Utah will wear purple uniforms on a purple court... 💩

I'm sure there will be numerous other cases with teams, I just haven't looked at all the potential eyesores

San Antonio has posted all the dates that they will be wearing their City Connect uniforms:

Unless the NBA was smart enough to set up an entire tournament so that there's no color clashes I'd expect the visitors to wear something else in most games.

It's not believed he was there to help the Chips. H was there to steal signs from the Spartans. He was just trying to fit in. Coaches generally don't wear passes or nametags. So, somehow he convinced his way in as part of the coaching staff and then just hid in plain sight.

Apparently his glasses had recording capability as well. You can see the small blue light by the top right of the glasses.  Even if you get invited to sit on the sidelines, he should not be wearing CMU gear if he's not serving in an official capacity.

  4. Week 9 schedule:

    Tennessee vs. Pittsburgh

    Miami vs. Kansas City

    Minnesota vs. Atlanta

    Chicago vs. New Orleans

    LA Rams vs. Green Bay

    Washington vs. New England

    Seattle vs. Baltimore

    Tampa Bay vs. Houston

    Arizona vs. Cleveland

    Indianapolis vs. Carolina

    NY Giants vs. Las Vegas

    Dallas vs. Philadelphia

    Buffalo vs. Cincinnati

    LA Chargers vs. NY Jets

  5. If this is Michigan staffer Stalions on a Central Michigan sideline, both schools should be in trouble here. Not saying it's him, but that would be really strange that another school would let him on their sideline, with accreditation. He does have appear to have a play sheet as well but with the Chips losing 31-7 it apparently didn't work if it was used.

Yeah, this has turned into a pretty big deal.  Hard to imagine the staff or school didn't know when this guy's buying prime seats for huge games on a pretty modest salary.  Somebody had to bankroll it.

Can't imagine Harbaugh is still at Michigan next year.

I am definitely not defending the NFL's decision here to not allow a Houston based college team wear a tribute uniform to a formerly Houston-based pro team. However, this article is where it says the Oilers uniforms are trademarked. Whether that is true or not, I don't know, but one wrinkle I hadn't seen in other articles is that the NFL had warned UH prior to wearing them against UTSA and the Cougars still wore them. As I mentioned in my previous post, the NFL is obligated to vigorously defend intellectual properties in order to maintain possession and protections, which even though the uniforms are not identical they are close enough to create obvious confusion on top of many media sites and handles calling them Oilers-inspired or even directly 'Luv Ya Blue' uniforms and them advertising a ticket package as the 'Love You Houston package'. Again, I'm not saying I like the C&D being used by the NFL, but it makes sense, especially when UH could have easily asked for permission and even possibly partnered with the NFL and Nike for something like auctioning jerseys for a non-profit or scholarships for the school.

I don't think Houston should have to ask permission to change up their uniforms. I also don't think the NFL would have signed off if the uniforms were auctioned off afterwards. If Iowa didn't change into the look based on the Steelers until this year would they be getting the same stick from the league? I know team colors aren't the issue in that case, but in this regard the NFL is the neighbor who's yelling at kids to get off the lawn of the people across the street from them because one of the kids has the same hat his kid does.

appreciate the feedback, this one I made assumptions for. I didn't really think Old Trafford would be rolled out to host a team since Man United would be protective of the field. BUt then again, the Glazers are their owners.

I'll take a look at some changes later this week!

They play the Rugby League championship there every year, so depending on how many extra games we're talking about they might allow it. It's in worse shape than Bolton at the moment though.

I don't want the Adams family and NFL to win this, but I can see their point where UH was essentially doing everything in their power to hint that its a Oilers uniform wheras if some random team in Kansas wore columbia blue uniforms with white helmets we would just think "those like like the oilers, neat"

Maybe that's why Rice had navy blue around the letters and the sleeve stripe design.
