You can spot on the shoulders sublimated stars (does it look too "all-starish"?). For the third jersey I went totally in another direction. It is a celebration of the RRS Discovery, a research ship used by Scott and Shackleton for their journeys to Antartica. She is now a museum ship in Dundee. The color scheme is really difficult to match as teal and red don't really match well together. My attempt with the logo was to modernise their cartoony logo so I went with a sword themed crest. The third jersey could be worn on St. Patrick day but also on other games in order to show the pride of the gaelic heritage of Northen Ireland. The shoulder patch was an idea not to loose completely the giant identity, as these legendary creatures have always had an important part in irish tales. Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 I've been waiting for your take on Belfast since the thread began because I think they are one of the more unique looking teams out there but I think you might have missed the mark here. The original logo has it's downfalls but I think it's kind of fun in it own weird cartoony way. Sweater design is on point so try putting the original logo as main crest and use your sword crest logo as a secondary. Third jersey is a true gem. I tried a new logo with a flaming hockey puck. Uniforms have orange addedd in the pallette to add more contrast to the blues and to give them a unique touch. The "Dragon breath" jersey has together a retro and fururistic touch and in my opinion it is a better way to display those beautiful colors whithout going with the obvious flame shape. P.S. Their current logo reflects very well the ironworks, but it is quite complex and I personally really like simple logos. Maybe this is why my logos are from time to time more "alternate" than "primary" . The jersey design is quite simple and straight. Let me know your thoughts! Their jersey design was on point for me so I just switched some colors. The third jersey was thought thinking of nottingham soccer team (Notts County FC) which sports black and white vertical stripes and is the world oldest professional soccer club.
