Enduring his wife's dementia and death along with the perils of being elderly, Buddy went through a hell of a lot even without his ailing health. Guy changed the game and his players adored him. Technically he was gone the year they did that, but he built it and they were hellacious even before that year. Dude knew defensive talent like none other. Also wasn't afraid to be honest - said his own RB Michael Haddox a "looks like a reject guard from the usfl because he's so fat." Favorite coach i ever ever watched as a sports fan, even tho he couldn't win a playoff game. Loved that guy.
